Generally speaking, it’s partially genetically linked but mostly born from experience, resulting in certain preferences and dislikes. That being said, you can’t pinpoint every little preference down to one exact factor-

I think If I'd ever had to choose a kind of yaoi I'd love to be in, It'd be omegaverse for sure.
And you know what's more fun that being alpha, beta or omega? Being the Enigma.
