If you're afraid of people hating you Ml you shouldn't have made him so bad to begin with especially Ilay being a serial rapist literally raping most of his victims to death they talked about it in the earlier chapters but during that Yuri Gable arc it was meant to be mentioned more but the author just cut it out and made a confusing chapter that except you read the novel you won't understand the chapter is saying Ilay was a serial rapist that raped most of his victims to death

the author and artist are different people. yuuji never sugarcoated ilay or made him digestable to other ppl's liking. yuuji is the author and kanjak is the artist. ofc there are going to be many differences and not everything can get adapted into the manhwa, but the novel itself is way darker and DID NOT SUGARCOAT shit. so idk what you are going on abt

Especially the serial rapist part they mentioned it a little in the earlier chapters but during the Yuri Gable arc it's meant to be in more details that was why after Yuri saw Ilay and Taeui in a 'compromised' state in the bed he assumed they fucked and wanted to go to the room to 'pack the body' it's because Ilay normally rapes men or women, most of them to death few with severe injuries but the author didn't explain it well she just made that particular chapter confusing probably cause she didn't want her Ml to be hated so much which is weird cause why create a Ml that's a Monster in the first place if you don't want him to be hated why isn't she adapting the evil things Ilay did properly I hate when authors reduces a character in a book's actions because it makes no sense if you're going to create an evil character and adapt it stick to what you wrote don't change your writing they did it in Formless now they are doing it in Passion I doubt this particular scene of Ilay 'punishing' taeui will be adapted well

Number 1 do you honestly think an artist can draw and post without running it with the author? Is that what you truly believe lol the artist and author both work together the author instructs and tells the artist what to do also if you could read properly i clearly said the adaptation of the novel which is this webtoon is not properly showing everything Ilay did kid did you even read my comment to understand? Read it again and reply me properly. Also okay let's assume you're right and the artist is the one not adapting it well. How about the parts about Ilay raping multiple people to death? It still was not written well it just needed to be written not drawn so how about that? You can even check the chapter in the webtoon I'm talking about it's the chapter that Yuri wanted to go to the bedroom to 'Pack the body' then Ilay told him to stop and next time knock before entering in that chapter the artist already drew it well but the explanation was round about and confusing if I didn't read the novel I won't really get what's going on in that particular chapter they were meant to explain the severity of ilay's serial raping

well if you are arguing, you gotta learn the difference between artist and author lol, YOU LITERALLY KEEP SAYING AUTHOR which is yuuji. how abt we start with using the correct terms? as for manhwa adaptation, i totally agree many parts of the novel was toned down and not shown, making the novels 10 times darker than the original novel but i hope you know the artist genuinely can't adapt everything, i agree it can be a bit confusing, misleading even to manhwa only readers but everyone knows manhwa has it's own pros and cons, one of the cons being capturing the true essence of the chapter which can't be done all the time so it would be great if you could be kinder to the artist, it's not an easy task adapting a novel with such morally disturbing elements, and as for the adaptation, kanjak has only gotten better at doing it. take the bus stand and johannesburg hotel scene for example, it does capture the essence of the original novel unlike the past non con scenes and well reasonably, this was the most important turning point of passion

Of course i know everything can't be adapted and stop saying it's not the author they both work together and the stuffs I'm talking about it's very obvious they are both purposely omitting some things it's very obvious it's not because they 'can't adapt everything' I first thought it was like that but after they couldn't just explain Ilay being a serial rapist properly which is a big deal that's when I started suspecting they are purposely doing it. In the past the artist has drawn Ilay punching Taeui but all of a sudden she can't draw it again in this new chapter? Lol they are both doing it on purpose the artist can't submit a work without running it by the author first they both work together so it's both of them you can believe what you want to but I'm sure they're purposely doing it you can't create a bad character and cut out important details just to avoid hate I don't like reverse thinking but I respect the author for sticking to her sick story in the adaptation even if she later cuts out some things at least she's not cutting out important details

That's what I was thinking, in the novel Ilay punches Taeuii in his stomach so that's the reason he becomes unconscious but here they don't even show that and he randomly becomes unconscious. Like for the ppl who didn't read the novel it will become confusing for them.

I know right they didn't show that Ilay punched him, or that he was losing conscious or that he was about to vomit before Ilay stuffed his mouth with his gloves they just made it kind of confusing for non novel readers

All i thought about was that scene in 50 shades of gray when he find out she's a virgin and he kiss her and pounce on her

Yes he does I don't know why the author stopped the adaptation like this but yeah after the Hawaii trip Kangwoo tells him to go back to college, he gets a job and even though Kangwoo is really jealous he's talking to other people at work he just let's Heewon do it he even buys Heewon an apartment or Island (I can't really remember) and a car

As long as the Mc obeys him or acts cute he doesn't get hit but if he doesn't obey or if he lies he does Kangwoo never changes Mc just learns how to handle him
