she has a childhood friend, who was told to be friendly towards her, she had a crush on him until she read the book
another male character is the pppprince?? or something and she was alone when he approached her, he was supposed to end up with the real protag but he ended up falling for the villainess.

I know the romance tag and harem tag on this might scare you (It scared me off too lmao) but the mc is a real piece of scammy shit so he actually doesn't really like any of those people, he only uses them for progressing forward or for his own gains. The only person he cares about and gets jealous over is the male lead/ Regressor (atleast initially he later bonds with his companions but not romatically but being concerned they might die kind of way lol), so it's really heavy on the bromance. Even one of the woman says that instead of being vary of the girls around him she should be vary of the ml lmao (in the novel idk about the manhwa) and she actually suspects something is going on between them behind the scenes because there are many rumors about them lol.
