The mc doesnt believe in love after suffering from an unrequited love his whole life, the story is about him finding romance with the man who moves in with him, at first it is just because he seduced him and they both know the relationship is physical only, the plot revolves around the mc struggling with feelings of love for more thsn one person and how to overcome and let go of his past. A lot of comments call it frustrating but honestly I think it's realistic that he struggles getting over something he felt for so long instead of instantly get over it, he does acknowledge that he makes mistakes a lot and currently the plot is basically over with a happy ending so its worth a read.

You need to understand the worldbuilding context here to see why the ML did what he did. Even though the MC is an omega, he chose to keep participating in sports while being surrounded by alphas. If the ML hadn’t covered him with his scent, by this point the MC would have already been taken advantage of by another alpha. That’s how the omegaverse world works, at least from what has been shown so far, so you can’t really blame the ML for wanting to protect him from other alphas.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the story but I am not biased. MC was never really in danger and people that justify Su-ah by saying that what he did saved MC from potential harm are just delusional.

And everyone hates juhyeok for using him for his cum BUT su-ah knew juhyeok didn’t want him romantically and still agreed to it because it was a gateway for access to him after juhyeok cuts him off when he assaulted him. Even if MC loves ML, he is not READY to accept it and it is okay. He has to accept himself and it doesn’t matter if it takes him 80 freaking years. Here people are pushing for him to accept ML’s feelings just because he is acting ‘nice’. I have been trying so hard to understand why people are blaming Juhyeok for their situation when he is trying to mend what Su-ah broke. Like the one that should really be apologizing and yearning even more is Su-ah, yet no, he uses EVERY opportunity to coerce and coax MC into acting the way he wants while acting like a victim.
I admit that I like dark tops, but please, let’s recognize that this man is a freaking red flag to the core. And let’s stop accusing the victim for trying to survive.
