I was reading the novel and when Gisel Zibendad suggested keeping the mc around even after he got remarried to another Duchess broke my heart. During their last dance with a magnificent dress, Rensley Malrosen says, " I love you" and proceeds to run away. That's when Gisel realizes his feelings, but it's already too late since mc left to go find his sister + with a broken heart. I kept getting like song flashes when the mc ran away and the song, " stop the wedding " was too perfect. " You can burn the dress and run away, stop the wedding!"

No, there was 100+ chapters at least. I will say that their relationship has developed a tad bit more, but I wish the duke was more confrontal about his love towards mc. It's been just little things up to now, but never like flashy to announce his relationship. You'll understand once you the manwha catches up or you read the novel.
The scope of emotions that the ml brings out varies, but up to you to decide if those emotions are satisfactory or not. The emotions you see now in the manwha really does reflect the ml up to the end which disappointed me, but yeah.

No, he did not get remarried but they were in the process of getting remarried. The duke had a candidate lined up for him. So they did like a party to display that the duchess was alright and she wasn't sick. Mc and ml did a final dance together ( mc dressed up as a woman) and mc made an excuse he was tired so he wanted to go sleep. Of course this wasn't true and he was actually gonna run away especially after a person contacted him that she was okay and gave information where she was ( his sister). The mc did a bunch of things like make a fake doll ( when ml entered the bedroom it looked like someone was sleeping ), he made a letter saying, " I wish I was doing this for you, but I'm actually doing this for myself. Hope everything turns out the best with your new duchess. Also, make sure to eat the tomatoes that I set out on the window in my room." All of this made him realize his feelings and ml goes crazy, he deploys everyone to find mc but no avail. He uses magic but for some reason the tracking magic gets cut off at a cliff side and ml thought mc committed suicide. They check the cliff to find no body. ( It was because mc was actually in another dimension, he got bit by a dog in the earlier chapters of the novel which was actually a magical beast and mc helped the dog cause his leg was hurt.) Mc on the other hand was resting for a couple days in that other dimension where there are plentiful of fruits and veggies. ( The time difference between the dimensions is crazy btw, 1 day is 1 week in the other. And mc was there for around 3 days so by the time he left 3 weeks already passed.) By then, the Duke lost hope and he was confined in a tower ( cause monsters started attacking and he was too distracted on finding the mc). When mc comes out and goes to a nearby town he finds out that the Duke placed a bounty on him ( the duke didn't know and his subordinates was actually the one who placed it). For a day or two the mc was running around avoiding people until he find out that the city he was suppose to defend was getting attacked by monsters so he runs back. There is this huge magical summon fighting another monster and it was like a huge battle. After the fight is over he goes to the commander and askes where the the duke is. He explains that he's in the tower and if wants to meet him or not and he says yes. So he goes into the tower where there is no exit or entrance ( there are royal mages who open or close standing in front ). The tower is pure darkness and he walks up the stairs to find the ml locked behind steel bars. Mc then says, " your grace?" Ml responds go back, you don't want to see me like this. ( The ml transformed into a monster temporarily because of summoning the huge magical beast ). Mc says he doesn't mind and he explains that he misses him and he wants to him. Ml nods and so mc goes into the jail cell him him. They explain their feelings and mc says he doesn't mind if he just becomes a mistress and then ml says no, you'll become the official duchess. ( Of course that doesn't happen for another while but just know it will, ml doesn't remarried ). After explaining their feelings they have sex where the ml is transformed into a beast. Like mc used to not be his toes but now he needs to use his toes to even reach ml. The body of the ml is way bigger even down there when he is transformed. ( The duke actually knots the mc during it). Yeah, you'll have to see lol. Enough spoilers

I've read the novel entirely and it was so good. Barely any angst ( it was non existent) and this is a story where they actually communicate. Our Mc knows if something is troubling the ml and just makes him speak up about it. If there are issues in their relationship that is causing trouble then they go out of their way to communicate. Hess is very much the one who takes charge in their relationship. Ask me anything and I will answer to the best of my abilities.

I've read the novel and the development of their relationship is so cute. DeMarcus thought they were in a relationship because Hess forced him to break up with his " imaginary boyfriend." He thought they were in a relationship the entire time and mc just didn't say anything because by then Hess fell in love. ( you'll see the fake boyfriend on chapter 9.) Their relationship goes public because DeMarcus wanted to go shopping with Hess despite Hess insisting he's broke. DeMarcus insist to go shopping because he wants to get matching clothes and then Hess is like so you want everyone to know. DeMarcus does not hesitate in saying Yes and Hess calls up the coach. ( After that day, everyone on the team knew they were dating.) Hess goes on a shopping spree btw and spends over 10,000 dollars on clothes with Demarcus money. Them explaining their relationship to coach and Hess almost got kicked out but DeMarcus steps up and they were able to resolve. Hess stays but they no longer can meet privately. They don't break up btw, but it's just they need to win the season and the deal is that if they won then they could be roommates again. My favorite detail was that Hess said " at least Im reminded of Demarcus " because of the clothes he bought. The clothes remind him of his boyfriend

Hmm, well I'll give you another one and it's one of my favorite events to happen in the story.

So it was the national league game and DeMarcus was of course playing while Hess was backup. My favorite detail about this was when DeMarcus was going on break he said, " as long as I have you" to Hess which I find really cute. After winning the game, DeMarcus drove Hess to his Beach house. During the drive, DeMarcus saysn" please don't be angry, I might have done something bad" and Hess responds with " did you get someone pregnant or have sex with someone?" DeMarcus says " NO, of course not." The drive there is relatively silent and then they pull up to the driveway. Hess expression is just in awe because the driveway is just filled with flowers. Hess enters the home and it's also filled with flowers. Both walk up the stairs and they enter the bedroom. The bedroom is filled with footballs and the name plate above the bedroom which used to say " Winter" is now love. After that they of course did the action. Ima just say that DeMarcus and Hess get more possessive over each other. Another spoiler but in book 2, DeMarcus was seen on a like date, not date but rather hangout with his friend who he was giving dating advice to. This of course was posted on social media and Hess is like, " it's nothing more than a hangout, probably. " The doubts of course get to him and he calls up DeMarcus where he answers every single question that Hess asked him to where his location is, who he is with, and what he is doing. After DeMarcus gets back to the dorm Hess is waiting for him on the couch. DeMarcus goes to take a shower ( they never lock the bathroom door when together) and Hess enters. The steam from the fog covers all the private/ important parts of DeMarcus and Hess takes a picture. He ask DeMarcus if he can post this on social media to clear the misunderstanding that DeMarcus was dating his friend and DeMarcus shyly of course says yes.( Hess is jeleous and wants to make it clear that DeMarcus is his boyfriend.) After that post, every one knows they're dating.
Biggest spoiler, ending!! Do not read this if you don't want to get spoiled
This is book 3 spoiler and the end of the story. DeMarcus often gets nightmares despite holding and hugging Hess while sleeping. The nightmares involve Hess sleeping with girls at a party one day when he is drunk and he wakes up in terror / horror. This wakes up Hess who is sleeping next to him and he forces DeMarcus to explain himself and the situation. DeMarcus is embarrassed on what the contents of the dream but he continues to talk about it.( He always obeys Hess) Hess solution to this is to just get engaged and married. Hess proposes to Demarcus and he of course says yes. This of course was improper and they hold a proper proposal next month. ( DeMarcus was worried about why Hess has not formally asked his hand yet during the month so he went out of his way to find a proposal planner and he spends over 10k+ on it. ) on the other hand, hess didn't yet get to formally ask DeMarcus hand because he was trying to get money. He ends up borrowing 3k plus dollars from his Dad and used that money to fix the engagement from his Mom who passed away. ( It fits DeMarcus ring finger now.) Little fact: Hess Dad ask whois last name he will have and Wyss says Winter of course. So it's now Wyss Winter rather than Wyss Hess, he took the last name of DeMarcus. During a trip to NY hess plans out the day and then when DeMarcus came back from the trip Hess drives DeMarcus to a unknown place. DeMarcus is of course worried and he thinks, " is this why he took so long, he wants to break up?" This of course is far from the truth. Hess stops and the sun is setting in the distance. Both come out and DeMarcus tries to put his arm around Hess shoulder but Hess steps back. This makes the thoughts of Winter worst and he thinks the worst is coming. Out of no where, Hess kneels and pulls out the box which has his mother's ring. Hess then says, " Will you marry me, DeMarcus?" DeMarcus worries then goes away and starts crying and both say their love you. This ends there sadly and we couldn't see their marriage and the proposal planner ends up getting tweaks and it ends up just being a nice honeymoon dinner for both of them.

I'm rereading earlier chapters and there's such a big difference between now and then. It's obvious that Garam would look younger but I never realized how big the difference is. Garam was way more skinner back then and his face had more fat to it like an oval shape of sort. But now, his face is more sharp on the jaw bones and his neck is larger. His now figure presents him as a larger figure back then and his torso has more width. His once soft expression back then no longer exists and he is presented now with a blank expression.
Some people really are so insufferable that they feel the need to put others down for not understanding NME or simply for not expressing the same deep love for it. I'm not gonna name them or whatever, but why push negativity? Like I've seen so many cool edits about NME just for some negative people to say it's fleeting and meaningless. That's not meaningless since people are going out of their way to edit and I've even seen artwork now. Bdk deserves a fan base and to push negative rtheroic to individuals who go out of their way to share the story through means not of opinions is dumb. They're not deevolving the story jnto yaoi slop but rather elevating it considering that a lot of edits I've seen were stunning which is a reflection of Bdk skills.
