When it comes to Chinese and historical at that, I just can't help but think of drama like for example the seme (or whatever you call him) will get married to a woman and there is going to be a love triangle or either that the 2 of them will die at the end or will get separated by family. Never a HAPPY ENDING.I WATCHED A TON OF CHINESE BL DRAMA THAT SET ON HISTORICAL PERIOD AND IT LEFT MY HEARTBROKEN EVERYTIME I WATCHED IT. I WILL TELL YOU THOSE DRAMA WERE BASE ON NOVEL AND IT IS EITHER A SUPER SAD ENDING OR A BITTERSWEET ENDING. EITHER WAY YOU WILL CRY YOUR EYE OUT AFTER READING IT OR WATCH THE DRAMA.
