Maybe i misread past scenes, but seongmin's motivation is difficult for me to wrap my head around. Does he genuinely not see yuwon as a friend? Or is he saying he /doesn't/ consider yuwon a friend to "cover up" wanting to sleep with him just so dohun doesn't slime him out? But he clearly doesn't care what dohun thinks. And at the same time he's kind of asking for permission to cuck dohun—if only in a goading/teasing/"you can't please him therefore i will" way. So like, what's up? What's with the lack of subtlety all of a sudden? /Does/ seongmin even want to sleep with yuwon? It feels like a redundant question, but at this point, i'm questioning his presence in the story altogether. He feels like three different characters rolled into one and it has nothing to do with yuwon's unreliable narration. Beyond the wonderful art, I'm a bit iffy on this chapter and what purpose it serves in building yuwon's world as one devoid of real connection.
i def see where youre coming from and i think it may be clearer when official translations come out… do know this though, seongmin is deathly afraid of yuwon finding out about his true feelings (from raws), so do what you will with that information
Cool, that's good to know. My main frustration while writing this is the reader is somehow supposed to operate under the fact that seongmin schemed for over a period of 2 years to deliberately isolate yuwon without ever once tapping that. No wonder dohun is the seme here bro you are useless. But i guess he's like, the schemer who yearns.
sorry wait.. im not following. i dont think seongmin ever deliberately isolated yuwon from his coworkers, he just simply acted in self interest (didnt put himself in a disadvantageous position by not standing up for yuwon when the coworkers were talking behind his back) and this was witnessed by dohun who used this to prove to himself that seongmin was two-faced and not worth of yuwons attention
I believe seongmin liked the fact that yuwon was already in isolated position at work so yuwon would rely on him more because he was his only friend at work plus it benefited seongmin that yuwon had no one he simply used it to his advantage to stay close but nonetheless, he friendzoned himself definitely still a two faced bitch because how are you gonna socialize with the other co workers and never include yuwon
