I have decided to be petty and now I’m scared of the consequences but oh well. For whatever reason my dad has been super controlling lately and just changing things that shouldn’t be changed to make himself happier without him caring how it affects the rest of the family. Now he has decided instead of taking out the smelly trash he would rather just put the whole thing in the hot garage making it even more smelly. Everyone was super confused at first thinking it was cuz the bin itself was smelly and needed to air out or something but no, this man took full trash and put it in the hot garage. So naturally ofc my mother (bless her heart) takes out the trash and low and behold the trash doesn’t smell so everyone waits expecting to see the trash can back inside the house since it doesn’t stink anymore. That doesn’t happen. Instead I bring it back in and he kept putting it back this happened 4 times. The fourth time it happened he complains basically blaming my mom and saying “you know I’m doing something” no we don’t. You didn’t say shit about the trash can. So me feeling guilty that my mom just got blamed for something I did I wait for this “something” to be fixed and have the trash back inside. Ha. My older sister, bless her omfg, asks why is the trash can still in the garage, mama tells us it’s because dad put in the garage to keep out the flies and nats and how ever since he put it in the garage there have been no flies or nats. Haaaaa. My sister and I just look at each other and I say “so instead of taking out the smelly trash he decides that the solution is to put the whole thing in the hot garage making it more smelly and getting more bugs on it is the solution?” My mom looked at me with that look that basically saying yeah I know it’s fucking stupid but I’m too tired to argue. Then after she sees me and my sisters faces she says “I’ve decided to choose what battles I fight with him about”and me and sister looked at each other again
