for a story whose main point of interest is that the girl wears a mask they sure go out their way to show her full face in every promotional artwork and revealed it a few pages starting the story

what? I just saw ur other comment calling this repackaged white feminism and omg what an extreme reaction to my comment imo not all fiction media with a strong female lead needs to be a heroic triumphant story.
irl feminism doesn't even work like that, any one woman in history who has realized that patriarchy has brainwashed them into following a path they didn't choose already COUNTS as a feminist. heroism in social change is measured by the direction and courage of the action, not just the scale of the outcome.
