Why does he like the FL already? Like if it was just regret and sorrow for now, it would make sense, but why was he jealous?
Might be a bit of a spoiler:
From what I understood in the novel, even though he was under a spell to love Beatrice, in the end he still ended up falling for Kaela which played a part in him being harsher towards her as the spell is reacting to him disobeying the magic. He just doesn't show much of his affection as he thinks he doesn't have the right to even love her, though that changes later in the story.

I thinks it's allowed in most of the world. In Europe, Canada and I think Australia have (in my opinion) have incredibly low standars of who can apply, so they were scandalous for some years. The rest of the world tends to give the option of euthanasia for people with medically proven chronic and orphan illnesses or disabilities such as paraplegia.

In the later chapter he was speaking in English and that scared Akira as he thought haruto could have been talking to someone in Switzerland, where assisted suicide is permitted. So you know what that implies...

Yeah and what blows my mind is the bottom in the story has a whole ass girlfriend but doesn’t have sex with her which okay. However he DOESNT EVEN KISS HER WHICH IS BS STORY TELLING but the top is fckn left and right and he’s single??
I'm gonna get dunked on for this but I only read up to chapter 30 and I really don't like how quickly they'd try to explain subtle things that happen, like how the FL said she'd be willing to be executed for her honor, and then suddenly they show a scene from her past life and she suddenly decides she needs to live a good life for that random kid. It just feels to convenient to the plot, rather than actually building up character traits.
Also she's a real pushover for immediately thinking well of someone because they're good-looking. Idk why authors think this is a relatable character trait but it really pisses me off when bad things characters do are brushed off because the MC decides they were too good-looking while doing it.
I really just can't get through this because of how convenient everything is to push the story along rather than actually writing a compelling plot ╮(￣▽￣)╭

It seems like a misunderstanding. Remember the afair part was always assumed by the fl and the only person that confirmed it was the “saintess” more than likely it was a lie

He has a condition and his father went through it to. Herdin doesn’t want to kill his wife because if he falls in love with her he could kill her so to keep her at bay while he’s trying to cure himself (essentially) he stages an affair. He is very much so in love with her though. Has been. He is also the one who reversed time and let her keep his memories intact. The child also did not die.
From what I have read people posting this is subjective so I’m not sure it’s entirely factual. I do know he loves her and that the affair was only bc he doesn’t want to hurt her.
Omg the men back in the day don't understand "communication" like wtf if they had just let her know beforehand she wouldn't be hurt! like she can't read minds!! He didn't care to inform her at all so there better be a very long yearning and redemption arc.

I've loved the ML, what we read in the beginning was FL perspective when even she herself didn't know what was going on, I'm not saying I don't pity her for her sadness at all but if you read this story it's worth it.
To be honest the toxicity in the comment section made me give up this story but am back reading it and don't regret doing that.
All in all a huge misunderstanding they have
