Some people are really open about being queer and don't really mind being judged or anything so they eventually expect their partner to be the same way..but not everyone is comfortable to be open about their sexuality and that might lead to this conflict i.e.one being confused as to why the other is not willing to show them affection on public ..I guess
I think it’s a bit selfish to expect your partner to as open as you are, ig some ppl had better experiences growing up queer but you should still be understanding of the other person even if you’ve been together for years
