The art is what drew me the most in this manhwa. The colours, the lines, the character designs — the ML is beautiful, the FL is gorgeous, and I absolutely devoured the panels with them together.

Unfortunately, the visual appeal did not translate to the story itself.

Abrupt change of scenarios and conversations. Racism with the darkening appearance of the possessed ML. The characters felt boring as if they were created solely around tropes.

However, of course we are here for the protagonists since they're the ones telling the story.

I'm pretty sure ML has a bipolar disorder at this point. He's hot then he's cold, the whole repressed and strained male love interest was not handled well. Little to no character development.

FL on the other hand, I think she's a little more developed, though she's not the kind of protagonist I necessary will recommend to anyone. Vain, close-minded, I would say even ridiculous in some sense. I did not enjoy her, I will be honest.

Best character so far is the ML's sister — the 'original' female protagonist. She knows what she wants, learns to stand up for herself, and knows her own worth. She could be written better for such strong characteristics, alas, she had the misfortune of being written in a one dimensional fantasy romance manhwa.

As I always say, you can read it so you can make your own opinions about it. My words are not set in stone for anyone, though I would personally not recommend this.

I read only 6 chapters and am already thinking of giving up. The artwork is so not worth it.

Chapter 37, just no. You don't warn the women in your life by attempting to demonstrate the act of sexual assault. Jill went from being a attractive golden-retriever male lead to a complete unattractive jackass in the span of a panel. Fuck you and your male ego.

I agree this made me so uncomfortable it’s hard bc he had good intentions and he loves her a lot but there are other ways to protect Stella without crossing boundaries

Yikes. That makes him more of a villain potential than love interest..

He definitely became a villain in my eyes from that moment on. He "lost control" and proceeded to scare the FL who by the way, is just starting to experience the real world. Like the other commenter said, his intentions always come from a place of affection, but I really don't care where they come from. That is no excuse for what he'd done.

i don't know exactly how to explain it, this is not said with any ill intentions. ishael has a certain personality type that is not easily liked in my eyes. everything she has done so far is executed poorly yet it works out in the end just fine, which causes the character to come off as arrogant (when it is not intended to.) the high society verbal battles sounded really cringe and childish, something that was a sudden bad turn from the rest of the enjoyable storytelling.

+1 because she is ambitious and a good worker, she is an interesting character.

sir dylan is a little less than okay-ish, he barely has any defining characteristics to stand out among any other dark-haired red-eyed cursed duke of the frosty north. the sole thing that drives him is his looks, he is a very pretty man. unfortunately, looks say little about personality.

+1 because he knows how to cook gourmet and he's obsessed with his wife (ishael.)

it is a really cliché story. not a bad thing per say, it's just how it is. i guess i hoped for something a little more unique due to the beguiling prologue of the story. i hope my comment does not stop anyone from actually giving it chance. my opinion may (and will) differ from anyones, so it is better to judge for yourselves.

the female lead is in no way a villainess, but she is pretty wholesome and i love the fact that she cares about children. the kids are also adorable! i can't wait to see how her friendship with jack will develop, he is the more cautious and rational of the little bunch. i hope we get more chapters soon! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
