I hope you guys like these updates! I was happy we finally got some physical progress between them and it seems like Kai-san does in fact have lips lol. These were a bit trickier than usual like some of the parts were a bit hard to understand so I tried to reword things as best as I could like he called Kai-san “mean” for teasing him but I changed it to “bullying” as I’ve seen some manga on here use for when one person affectionately teases the other. I love mischievous Kai-san tho! I was able to translate some sfx but wasn’t able to get all of them, it seems like whenever the font changes to like a handwritten look it’s hard for the Ai to pick up on it. I was messing around with 4 different translators for a couple hours and even drew the characters one by one into the apps but they still came back as gibberish. One of the translators where I drew each character literally translated an sfx as “moose!”.It was especially tricky when Seki-kun’s friend said “no, I thought he was a kid. Because he looks so young” because the translators all said like a variation of “no, childhood/when I was a kid…because I looked young” so I followed the context clues to try and make it make sense. Also when Asuka-kun says “I wasn’t saying I was cute at all” it was coming back as “I never said anything about me being cute” and “I can’t believe I’m cute. Not even 1 millimeter” so I think I tried to go with like something that sounded more like him and more casual in the convo. I just regret not being able to like word it in a way that showed that he didn’t believe he was cute. I’m not sure what Kai-san was doing on the puter but he seemed to be really focused on it so I wanted to hear some of your theories!

I’m on ch 34 and does it ever explain like if he has tattoos on his arms and stitches(?) on his neck or feet and does it ever explain why he has a limited education? My personal theory was I thought the stitches were like from his creation like I thought he was some kind of zombie or Frankenstein creature which would make sense how he doesn’t remember his childhood since he would’ve never had one. But also how his like brain is fragmented and he has really twisted morals but since he would’ve just came into existence everything would be a new experience like kissing and gifts. Like maybe he doesn’t understand human lives bc he himself was created in such a messed up way and if you think about it I think when they were saying that the dead were rising maybe it was not just world building but foreshadowing like maybe someone had the idea to chop up a bunch of zombies and put them back together to create Guwon. And maybe he doesn’t understand like what killing actually does to someone like maybe he just thinks they will wake up later like him. I know it sounds far fetched but it would make sense. Like his creepy and unsettling aura along with his giant build and childlike curiosity is very much a staple of Frankenstein’s monster. But maybe it’s just me wanting there to be a yaoi with a zombie boyfriend. My second theory is why doesn’t he just show Guwon the abuse he’s getting from the one hound so Guwon takes him out and like come up with ways to accuse the hound leaders of something or bait them into acting out of jealousy so Guwon kills them himself and now they’re out of the way like bing bang boom now you got less to deal with.

That’s true and I’ve always wondered why no one has acknowledged his tattoos yet like they’re pretty obvious and I’m saying tattoos because if you look at the top of where they start that’s like a common shape for sleeves to start in tattooing like it looks intentional and here and there you’ll see breaks in the all black of like swirling lines which I’ve seen in blackout tattoos before so maybe whoever he was before the story he had blacked out sleeves and you can see his nails are left uncolored which is common bc a lot of people just don’t get their nails tattooed because it doesn’t last long and his palms are also untouched possibly bc tattooing your palms and the underside of your fingers is insanely painful like the most painful place to get tattooed that not a lot of people do

Thanks everyone for the kind messages about the updates~ I know they’re not perfect but I tried using multiple translator apps and some research and tried to make things sound as natural as I could. I’m sorry I couldn’t find a way to translate the sfx but I’m assuming we can all figure out what’s happening just by looking at it. I did try to make an attempt to contact the original translator but Bato seems to be shut down and I tried to message the previous uploader and got no response. I’m not sure how else to try and reach out so if anyone has any ideas please lmk. For the latest update I’m just as clueless as everyone else on whether it was from Asuka-kun’s memories or Kai-san’s but with the rapid rate of the author’s updates I hope we find out soon! And yes I’m also wondering when they’re gonna fuck and how that would work
