i really love stories that explore how beings we see as being evil and unforgiving explore just that but make it so that love is the only thing that can destory it.... the scene where j said makoto's name to finally die made me tear up bruh i love this sonmuch
people need to start treating this less like solely yaoi and more like a well written psychological manhwa with queer characters... i wouldn't take the gay aspect completely away because i feel like its pretty integral to the story that the twisted relationship the mc's have is distinctly queer but like. people complaining about the backstory being long is pissing me off because its been the best part of this manhwa so far
also YES dohun is a rapist and as a character he is completely twisted and you don't have to like him or justify his behavior to love how well written as a character he is and has been so far.. maybe if you took your head out your ass and actually read the thorough backstory the author is putting so much effort into writing rather than feeling bored simply because its not the present day where they're havign toxic sex then maybe some of you would understand
whole point of the story is to find out why the characters became like this and how their relationship was built from the very start and some of you just neeeedd constant stimulation for whatever reason like

i meant it more in a way of the way people treat this specific psychological yaoi like its typical yaoislop and getting bored of the actual story as soon as its not focused on the romantic relationship of the two mcs,, i wholeheartedly agree yaoi can be deep or layered i think i shouldve worded it better lol
i seriously love the authors art style and their writing!! its incredible how, even though the mc's got together quite quickly, it didn't feel rushed at all?? they have so much chemistry with eachother and oh my goddd my favorite parts are when the panels focus on the small intimate gestures switched between them☹ the constant hand holding and clinginess..... the random kisses... we should all just die
also!! the way the sex scenes were so few and so casual and tender and real like what the hell! What the hellll
like im so used to bl having crazy intense sex scenes which is good in its own right but damn rarely do you see sex scenes where its really just two people holding eachother without exaggeration or porn-like qualities... the way the panels would focus on other objects around the house as they touched eachother too like damnnn this author is jinja crazy
i feel so sick this author knows how to write and depict dread so well . i dont know why people are complaining that there are so many flashbacks. are you guys genuinely just here for porn or what? are you not even the slightest bit interested in just what happened to the both of these characters from their childhood onwards, how their relationship became like that, how THEY became like that??
Exactly! Normally I let the stories I read marinate few chapters to continue to read but this story got me in clutches because of the psychological aspects of it.
And those flashbacks aren't some nonsense? It shows the ugly side of the world you are living in.It shows how it's effects the children when no one steps up to do the right thing and turn them to the broken pieces of an adults they are now.
