I don't know, maybe it's just me, and that's fine; I didn't particularly enjoy the story. I'm at Chapter 72 and I picked this up because I really wanted to read another fantastic Gates/hunter story after reading Hunter wants to live quietly m, traces of sun and raising my s class hunters (all incredible manhwas).

I like the characters and the story itself is interesting, but I do not like the main relationship. It just feels a bit forced? Maybe I'm the only one who felt that way and maybe I'll feel differently when the manhwa is completed, but the main relationship just feels.... Bleh.

Either way, not a complaint, I think the story does a good job at holding it's own but I think I'll let this one marinate and read it once it's completed.

Hope you guys love it

Might be because of artstyle is kinda bland compared to similar genre stories

Other than they deeply empathize with each other’s vulnerability.
It’s really cute how they are genuinely into each other so much.
Like in Ch.72 for example, the MC didn’t bother when others asked him to play the piano, but he locked in as soon as the ML said he wanted to see it. And he didn’t care when the redhead was bragging about his social media followers, but he was ready to stalk when he heard about ML’s social media.

Normally I'm never one to comment on issues like this. Since it's an issue that several BL manga/anime seem to portray.

Idk why as a collective, authors seem to think that using sexual assault or straight up rape makes the story edgy or unique. It's such a disgusting thing to use it as plot point.

Generally it's the seme who does it, and then there's no remorse, no time to heal and the story just continues.

It is so much more than a plot point. Ik some people don't mind reading SA in stories because after all it's just fiction. The rules of reality don't apply here.

But it's very disgusting to me that they still try to justify it. The reason I'm writing this under this manhwa is because I really really hoped and prayed the next few chapters would be Eunwoo processing what happened to him and healing from it.

The brother was instantly forgiven and they're now acting as if nothing happened. I'm not saying the brother shouldn't be forgiven

Everyone deserves to be forgiven and he clearly has issues that need to be handled with.

But damn, I didn't think we'd reach a "resolution" so soon.

No shade to this author honestly. Like, we're all reading this story for free so we really can't blame anyone

Thank you to the uploaders who seriously help several of us everyday.

And to those who enjoy this story, have fun it. I'm truly happy you like this story!

To be honest, the reason I got introduced to this manga was because of the anime. Thinking it was an innocent shounen ai. But after watching 3 episodes, I realised that it was going to be something I never expected.
I completed the manga before the anime had completed, so I knew of the ending before but it still hit me like a truck when it happened.
This story is so captivating and ingenuous. Maybe because it was written a long time back or maybe it's because the characters are so easy to fall in love with.
The characters, their stories and the development of their personalities just makes me so proud. Each chapter keeps you hooked to read the next. And when it finally is over, the high (low tbh) stays with you for a long time.
Reading this made me view my surroundings a more differently and more openly. It changed my perspective and I can't be more grateful.
The author did a fantastic job of telling the story of 2 boys, who's worlds collided but instead of being bitter and angsty, decided to take care of each other in a way we all wish to be treated.
Eiji, I know you're not a real person, but my heart is with you. You taught me to be patient, kind and loving even if the situation is dire. Your perseverance taught me to deal with things and not to judge people by the actions they do but by how they are.
You truly cared for Aslan and I know he did for you.
So no matter where you are, you'll always be together.
Aslan, you are an inspiration. You are strong, you are meticulous, you are smart and you deserve all the love in the world. I wish I could give you a hug and push you to eiji.
Thank you for being the way you are.
Because you're perfect.
I came for the shounen ai.
I continued for the stories.
And I'm still here for the characters.

Spoilers.. don't proceed if you don't want the story to be ruined
Reading the last chapter made me hate everything. I thought it was so unfair that Aslan life had to end in such a way. Especially after winning the battle.
But the more I thought about it, the more I realised that maybe he was tired. Maybe he just wanted to be free.
When he completed reading the letter and got up to meet eiji it's clear that he truly wanted to be with him. But sometimes we don't get what we deserve and it fucking sucks.
Also, this manga and anime is so underrated.
I swear to God if you're one of those people who doesn't watch it because it's a "yaoi".
Get educated
This is a masterpiece and you're missing that experience

Honestly, as much as I love all the characters of this incredible manga; Youichi has to be my favourite. He's just so kind hearted and funny. All his reactions are just *chef's kiss. We Stan wholesome friendships in this household.

As much as I love Rui and Hibiki.. I absolutely adore Shinji.. He's lowkey a shipper and is just so cunning and smart. I love him.
Also I really hope he doesn't add a new member... but I feel like he will.
He just loves the drama
