for anyone wondering, yes this is genuinely the artist’s style. the thing is that the artist for “booty wurk” has been a huge fan of the novel and has been posting fa of it on their twitter (youngleafofdawn) for years and it’s why they were picked to draw the manhwa adaptation.. their fa is why i discovered the novel’s existence last year and tried reading it.

the artist got a lot of hate back in february from international audiences bc of their artstyle as well…. everyone is obviously have to their own opinion and think whatever they want about the art style & ofc constructive criticism is okay but i just wanted to give some context.

personally i like the art style and think it matches with the psychological vibe of this work! there are definitely some parts that are bit jarring. but even with that, their art style is very unique and beautiful and it’s nice to see something different instead of the usual manhwa artist style!

Ppl who "don't like miscommunication, angst, drama" in their stories are so boring lol you don't want any rising action or climax to the plot? Just begin the story with the side stories then, god.
