I can't imagine doing romantic advances towards who outwardly looks like a child. Idc if she's grown up inside, it feels icky to me. For what reason ?? Do people genuinely find it cute that a grown man is flirting with a child-looking FL ヽ(`Д´)ノ
Wtf lol TTTT Legit went to the comment section to ask if she just gets a new love interest before I read but no wtf now I know my answer.
Why do authors do this??? It's either the mc who's inwardly an adult crushing on children or a 500 year old pedo trying to make sexual advances towards the mc who looks like a child, sure she's inwardly an adult but she still looks like a kid like c'mon. Only thing I'm willing to look past is when the mc grows into an adult and her love interest that she grew up with are also adults, yeah it sounds like grooming but it's at least better than liking a kid. Make mc grow up till she's an adult then introduce a new character that's an adult to be the ml, I can see people complaining that the ml appeared out of nowhere but easiest solution? Not have mc's childhood friends crush on her. boom problem solved, mc isn't a pedo, ml isn't a pedo and now fan's can't complain the person they wanted to be ml isn't ml
I wholeheartedly agree. This story is a bit different from those though. 1. He doesn't actually do anything even remotely sexual, he just wants to spend time with her, feed her etc (which i interpret as a mix of him seeing her inner self and imagining his children with her) 2. She doesn't gradually grow up, she was only momentarily in that state and she returns to her adult state soon enough
Ngl that still sounds so weird..... Haven't read it yet but by how you explain it it sounds innocent enough but why does the author need to turn her into a child??? Yeah you could say so she could have the childhood she never had but why not let her get taken care of by different people why does it need to be the ml? This honestly sounds like one of those anime's where the mc raises a little girl and the girl grows up just to marry the dad.... But instead they tried making it slightly more legal... Btw not trying to attack you just giving my thoughts, please don't feel like I'm attacking you
I wonder that too, it felt a bit unnecessary. Maybe it was so she could get closer to everyone in an easier way? It's easier to feel closer to a child than a great swordmaster...and the author used this also as an excuse to heal her hand. In the end I suspect it's because there are many popular stories with child MCs and the author wanted to appeal to those readers too hoping they would keep reading the story after she turned into her original form.
