Became so sick of manhwa that I sifted through the old mangas to read. I realize what I like about romcom manga is that they’re not afraid to hurt you. They’ll introduce a nice, cute ML that will MOST LIKELY reject FL, and it’s a common theme that FL has a failed romance that’s both embarrassing and sad. In manhwas, they often spoonfeed you with the perfect, skinny, rich FL with already obsessed ML and it more unrealistic and boring imo. There’s barely angst! I’ll be waiting for the day the reincarnation oversaturation dies down and real creativity and artfulness of plot comes back again.
I feel youu. I'd like to see more vulnerable FL's. Kinda comforting to know that this character's living almost the same miserable existence as I do minus the ML lol
