I read the novel a while ago, doesn’t 240 have a foot fetish? I remember being weirded out by a toe licking scene at one point
I read it on the WebNovel app

I love shutline sm but I’ve been rereading chap 16 (to see the parallel with chap 114) and the fact that Jake still touched Shin after acknowledging the fact that he was intoxicated makes me uncomfortable… is it considered SA?
I used the word intoxicated even though I know it wasn’t the most fitting one, I just didn’t really think about it. I know shin was still able to think pretty clearly and that’s what reassures me a bit but he did still say no in the beginning, so I’m at a loss here. But reading it again, I think it’s not that bad. He did say no at first but Jake tried to make him forget about the nasty thing that just happened to him, and it worked, so I guess it’s fine.
i don’t think it was SA in this case specifically but consent was very much a grey area in the first few chapters. i mean, their first sexual encounter in the parking lot was literal coercion after all. people tend to overlook the dubious consent bc shin is a freak and is visibly really into it as the story progresses but it’s still dubious at the end of the day
Can someone tell me who was the guy who got drugged inside the pool? I thought it was the therapist but I might be wrong
an undercover police officer who was name dropped in c25. as jy goes through his 'evidence drawer' under his fan letters near the end of that ch, we see his business card, which is one of three from jy's doctor shin kyungmin, jy's old manager han yeju, and this officer han dongju... wait a second, i wonder if there's a possibility that his old manager and this officer are related...??? they both have the last name han AND ju/주 in their name hmmm
