This is one of the few cases when the manwha is better than the novel, waaaaaay better than the novel. The novel is ass. Please everyone, just stick to the manwha. The person who is doing the work (story adaptation) took a low tier toxic waste of a novel and transformed it into a very good manwha with way better character development, secondary characters and everything.
Do you know how to read or are you here only to watch the pictures like 4yo?! Why every time I come to a comment section of a Incest (BL or not), BDSM, loli or shota manga/manwha that it's correctly tagged and THE PLOT SHOWS IT TO YOU IF YOU READ THE BLUR, I have to skim through the whole bunch of comments whining "Oh why aren't they step siblings? Eww this is shota, Ewww this is so disgusting". Are you ragebating? Are you bored? IF IT'S NOT YOUR THING, DON'T READ IT. Easy peasy. There are thousands of other stuff to read in this website alone. Please do us and YOURSELF a favor and scroll over.
Stop shaming other people for what they are reading. Get a life.
Please everyone. Go and read the novel. The translation is flawless, the story is superb and beautiful. This doesn't do justice between the bad translation and the fast pacing. The novel is a work of art.
You will find the novel in foxaholic under the name "The General who always see himself as a replacement" by Yi Yi Yi Yi.
I can recommend the novel 110% it's just awesome and beautifully written. And the romance is waaay more intense.
This story is like Burger King for me xD trash, but the kind of trash I like to eat hahahahaha xD it's simple-minded and funny.
Maybe because I'm Latina and I'm used to very dramatic Telenovelas to the point they are ridiculous.
So I find this one easy to follow, nothing complicated is going on so it's perfect after a rough week of work xD
Just my opinion though.
Spoiler for the novel.
I think Diana got the ending she deserved. She was alive, she was well... But she became totally irrelevant and is made a mockery of what a Queen and a Saintess shouldn't be. She is a divorcee in a society that blame the woman for that. She has to live her whole life in the place she deserved from day 1. A convent in the church she "liked" so much, becoming bitter and bitter every day while everyone else is famous, happy and well. Just thinking about it give me the creeps xD
This is the best ending for her. Her own life is her prison.
OMG xD I almost pissed myself after reading chapter 65. This is the first time I read something so absurd that it's FUNNY. I know everyone else is getting tired of this manwha but I am having a Blast. Sierra is just such a unique Character and she carries the whole novel by herself with no issues xD
I will be here to see the end, I'm enjoying myself too much.

JK and Garam are in the wrong. One because he is too impulsive and reckless without taking time to consider his lover perspective, the other because his insecurities are eating him alive and making him self sabotage his relationship and also being very condescending of his partner feelings and efforts because or that.
Garam came from a terrible environment, yes, but as someone who also came from one that doesn't give you a Free Pass into being an insecure dick and hurting your SO.
JK was angry because of the birthday issue, but he still prepared something he thought was romantic and beautiful for his boyfriend. Garam reacted very badly to it. He didn't even explain it well. In a third person eyes, (and probably JK) looks like reluctance to a commitment. Like, you don't tell me about your birthday, you don't even want my heartfelt gift, so what is this relationship about them? What do you want from me?
JK was also in the wrong for reacting so violently, instead of trying to talk it out, which made it worse. But okay, couples fights, misunderstandings are a thing. They took a night to sleep separately and 'cool off'.
Then the next day the issue with coming out to his friends. Here both of them are also in the wrong. First, JK, that's not a place to come out. You can do so in a more private place. Maybe he thrust his friends that much, maybe he really is that confident and doesn't give a shit, but there are time and places for everything.
Second, Garam. He isn't wrong for not feeling comfortable coming out. HOWEVER he is wrong for forcing JK to stay in the closet with him without any kind of plan for the future. He is JK boyfriend, not his fuckbuddy. Here he is actively sabotaging his relationship trying to use the moral high ground of "this is for JK's sake" when is not. It's just him. He is scared and instead of expressing his feelings and thoughts to his lover he, instead, resort to patronize his "this is for your own good" "I know better" mentality (a self protecting mechanism probably) while at the same time showing JK that he doesn't have any kind of plan for the future. No commitments. No nothing.
The rest is just both of them shoveling deeper into the pit of anger, regret, fear and miscommunication. Unless they can properly talk and express themselves this will only get worse. Both are at fault.
/rant over I just love this story. It portrays a very realistic relationship with miscommunication issues. Now they both need to work it out!
