This is one of the best isekai adaptations I’ve read. The author doesn’t ignore the MC’s original life or her knowledge of the story, which makes her feel far more believable and grounded. Those background actually affect her, her decisions and how she navigates the world. She’s an actual duchess who works, takes responsibility, and gets things done. She’s fearless, capable, and never written as someone who constantly depends on the male lead.
What I really appreciate is that the author doesn’t just tell us she’s amazing — he actually shows it through her decisions, strategies, leadership, and the way she thinks under pressure.
The male lead also has a genuinely believable reason for growing attached to the MC. Unlike a lot of generic MLs, his feelings don’t appear out of nowhere. He actually sees how capable the MC is and started admiring her for it. He struggles because he doesn’t know how to process these new emotions and the fear of losing her, which makes his character feel much more relatable.
And I especially love the little sister. The story doesn’t excuse her behavior, but instead shows her slowly learning and growing. The part where she manipulates situations to get her way, then realizes how much it hurts her sister, was handled really well. It feels like the author genuinely cares about character development instead of relying on clichés.
I also like that the MC challenges the ML to be more truthful and realize his feelings himself. Its sad to see the misunderstandings now but I know they'll find a way to be together.
I also love the way the Author shows adult themes here, no need to be shy about having intimate nights with the characters, no 50 chapters of blushing just by having a kiss.
Can't wait for more. Cant believe this webtoon rating is only 9. This deserves 10!!

Author just lost sight of what story he wants to make. It was good until chapter 43, after that, it became a generic ass webtoon.
The first 10+ chapters were hard to read, because it’s mostly about the despair you’d expect from a typical webtoon with a neglectful husband. But if you stick with it, it does start getting better.
I started asking questions, like how human nature always tries to find something to blame. It made me think more about different people’s perspectives, and what actually makes them the way they are. The weight of decisions, and the consequences of the choices we don’t take. The responsibility for our own happiness and future.
Sometimes, we just need to listen a bit more, try to understand.
Because love is patient.
The story was peak up until the persimmon poisoning. After that point, it becomes disorganized and unfocused. There’s little meaningful character development, and most of the side characters are sloppy and forgettable. The main character also lacks clear goals, which makes the plot feel directionless. Without proper buildup or anything compelling to anticipate, the story ends up feeling like a waste of time.
