I agree with the translator's notes at the end. The extra side chapters were not necessary like the author wasted several chapters of them doing the same thing. They could've communicated their feelings earlier and the misunderstandings should only be 1-2 chapters long.
It still made me cry, tho, esp after Clauden was beaten and the aftermath.

There just wasn't a clear history given of why and how kaijus emerged. Ig it's the same as how kaijus come from deep within the earth/ocean as shown in the movies. Or it's just how it's supposed to be. The characters will never know as they're still fighting monsters even after the end of the manga.

Just started reading this after 6 eps of the anime. 76 chapters in and the only thing I'm hating right now is the harem. Like, how can all the girls be liking Okarun only?!
He was friendless at the beginning of the manga, then he's become too popular to have all the supporting girl characters go crazy for him? It would've been better if the harem part is out.
I just really don't like harem in any manga or anime. I hope the mangaka would quit the harem and focus on the romance bet him and Momo only.
Also, somehow the story's become repetitive. Like every chapter they just had to run into some new alien/yokai, then they'd become friends with them or allies.
UPDATE: After reading up to 175, it's good that Momo and Okarun's romance is making progress and the author lessened the interest on Okarun to Aira now.

I mean what's gonna happen in the end, Wolsey will get divorced again after realizing Ramdane loves him then convince his dad to accept their relationship? If this is the endgame, why make a plot for Ramdane to run away again and again?
This author/artist is really good at drawing sex scenes. They're so sensual with less explicit scenes (I'm referring to the mature version). Some scenes made me cry especially the ones where they're also crying and pouring their hearts out.
