After reading their past I went back to reread the beginning, man I’m crying for cheol he is so pitiful (I really teared up), I totally get how he feels wanting to run away form the hurt, from reality, from his family, bro could never express his hurt and resentment, from minyoung even (that psycho) while also waiting for him even when he is not coming (bro I can’t forgive him for leaving cheol for 14 years ) because he is feeling conflicted as the only person he ever loved and who ever loved him who promised him the world betrayed him but at the same time not being able to let go of his love for him because that’s all he ever had, you really feel that he never had anyone by his side and the only one he had made him miserable and never apologized even though that’s all it would have taken to make him feel better, I get that minyoung have this grand plan but bro your lover has been miserable for 14 years, why not get him with you and plan this at the same time, I mean it’s not a year or 2 but 14 ??? I could never get past that, same goes with that hypocrite of an uncle go fuck your self you and your son I mean it took you 36 years and a talk from someone half your age to realise that being a bystander is shitty ??? Indifference is abuse too, it’s like cheol’s mom but from a further distance, For me he is as abusive as the rest of the family even though he at least care about cheol and I won’t call it love because if it was love he would have protected cheol since he was a kid, he is a coward and a hyprocite it took him having a child himself to think that if the same thing happened yo his « real » son he wouldn’t have let it go, man cheol is never the priority, even minyoung he didn’t think about cheol when he did what he did but about himself he is selfish because not once in his actions does he think about their effect on cheol while cheol always puts minuoung’s well being first but i have to admit he is the only one for cheol the only one who loves him and makes him the first in something even, and don’t get me wrong I love him one of my fav characters

I gotta spoil because I can’t let people misunderstand our ml who is a green flag and patient like no other, the author really added this scene for no reason because it doesn’t make sense for the characters but whatever, so I have to defend ml a bit spoiler :
: in the novel he drank all the alcohol he found at the house in front of mc to show him why alcohol is bad he didn’t plan to do this at all, the problem is that he drank one of the bottle seowoon (mc) received as gift earlier from the original mc of the novel (forgot his name) in which there were drugs inside (that makes one not themselves : violent, acting on desires,… ) because you know original mc always has creeps around so the alcohol was drugged and ml drank it,
Moreover as it is shown ml really regrets what happened and refuses mc refusal to see it as rape he considers what he did rape and until this issue is addressed no sex
He really is a green flag I love him and I hate that the author added this scene

When reading this it feels like reading a novel that wasn’t well adapted (I don’t know if there is one) many information are not shown same goes for pretty important events, or they are summarized quickly in a sentence, many things are glossed over, it lacks a lot of explanations, the characters feelings and growth are weird too, the mc is inconsistent, it lacks depth, the plot and characters seem to be all over the place, it had a lot of potential and if it has a novel the novel it must be good because the base of the story and characters are okay but yeah I feel like I wasted time it’s a shame I think it got discontinued or rushed to the ending because of whatever reason it could have been great and the art is pretty
So cringe who tf sucks on someone finger accidentally ? Why always use weird trop to make things sexual you can perfectly do it in a way that makes sense (like if he did it to seduce him it would be kinda okay but accidentally ??) and he goes straight to bj someone who is sleeping like what ? (I know it’s not real life but it makes me cringe so bad)
Guys in the novel he takes a lot more time to loosen him up he made him sit on his fingers haha (4 of them) the artist is still doing an amazing job to retranscribe the intensity of their scenes even though the novel is another level (best novel ever i was so wet reading it Lau is my fav top of all time a yearned like we all want in our life : sexy and grrr and our mc is one of the best, btw he is a yearner too, they suit each other so so well, their relationship, interactions, tensions, problems, the way to take care of them is so so well written and incredible)
and I’d like to precise that he doesn’t say « what are you » hoping that he is an Omega at all (he dates betas he really doesn’t care) it’s just that literally our mc drives him crazy like he can’t control himself when he is with him and he gives of a scent that makes him loose it even more which he can’t understand because all his life is about controlling himself
Guys the novel is mamamia I love it, and personnally I prefer the crown prince to the ml even though the ml is a cutie who would do anything for fl and I love him, I don’t know I guess I like red lol, he is so sexy guys it’s wow the tension is tensioning

I believe it is inspired by France history : the revolution that took place in 1789 caused a big uproar in all European monarchies which felt threatened by the revolutionary mentality that spread in the wake of it, they declared war on France (Prusse did first , former name of Germany) they tried to uproot the cause of the protests, France which was still highly unstable following the revolution and the purges lost the war, while being ravaged by a civil war inside, in the end napoleon took the power after establishing the consuls then the empire in 1801 and began to conquer Europe while promising hope of a new system with revolutionary believes, the population of the countries he invaded even welcomed him with celebrations, in the end he also was blinded by power and never really established the new system which lead to his demise in 1815 against England and the establishment of the 2nd Republic of France, the ideas of a democratic system being deeply implanted in the population mind lead by the declaration of the human and citizen right, voilà hope you liked the bit of history I shared, and to conclude I think the story is really inspired by these event that’s why it feels realistic in a way, recreating the atmosphere of the time with instability, fear of the revolution and the arrogance of the elites, I really like that for once an author took time to build the world they wrote, make a plot really good while placing the romance in the center (romance is always the most important to me) and making it beautiful while also really recreating the mentality of the time regarding marriage sex,… women weren’t clueless deers and men weren’t princes, even Valle seems realistic to me in his obsession (even if it’s huge), voilà love
