I loved the first couple but the second felt like nothing burger, I missed the first couple’s codependency, obsession and workplace romance all in 6 chapters. Meanwhile Incubus and Mr.Squirter(i don’t remember their names and I’m not rereading) get 10 chapters of “doomed lovers,” jealousy arc, and magical powers? It felt like a different story and I understand the sexual tension of angsty immortal powerful men and their human lovers, but it seemed like the author just picked angsty tropes and threw them in a pot. The onions aren’t even cut, just burnt. I appreciate this authors works, bought their manga, and support them online. Idk may be personal bias: maybe I just like clear visual consent and less magical powers.
side note, if the incubus meant to possess the subordinate and the incubus is strictly a top, would the boss have bottomed? that’d be cool to see.
