I treated this as a reward but this is not what I expected (kinda disappointing for me). Don't get me wrong I'm really not into a rough relationship start.
It is a good read. But for me the plot is very confusing and annoying for some reason. I just can't get the fact that the others didn't get their endings although they've accepted the fl's decision it's just sad. I love the character development though. And I love that the FL didn't choose the crown prince or the duke, but a common commander.
That’s where I differ. I wish that she would’ve picked the Duke. I genuinely feel like everything seemed better in that regard. Also since they were kids, he was kind of whiny and everything I stopped reading a chapter 20, and then I skipped a couple read a little bit more and then was like I just don’t like it. It has nothing to do with that. He’s a common commander. It just has to do with the fact that I didn’t like the match itself.
