I’m re-reading this after a few years and here we are, crying yet again. Can’t bring myself to dislike any of the characters, like em all

In my opinion Sian wasn’t innocent either. Sure, Yul was mentally unstable, but she kept on persuading him and made him extremely vulnerable to her. That was a life changing experience for him, yet she tossed him away so easily. If she really did love Yul, then she could’ve deescalated the situation between him and her mother instead of running away. She should’ve prepared to accept all of him beforehand. Could’ve payed some mind to his mental health and encouraged him to become healthier instead of running away. That wasn’t true love, as she said she only likes a guy for their pretty face. If she’s not satisfied with their personality then toss them away. It was very cruel of her.

I actually like Yul, he’s not a psychopath. Only needed someone to be there for him and pay attention.
If anyone knows a storyline where the insane male character ends up with together the female lead, pls recommend it to me.

4stars for the chapters prior to the npc rebellion arc, and 3stars for the rest of the chapters.
I love this manhua, it is very original and I’ve re-read it a few times. Super interesting, funny, absurd at times, and dark but in a cool humerous way thanks to the blood elf.
The gender bender was done really well. She both looked and acted the part. This manhua has a handful of bisexual and gay characters including the mc. I loved that factor
I felt so bad for Wicked and I still can’t choose who would’ve been a better ml between him, Gui and dictator.
At first I hated wicked and little xiao together, but the human lifespan is much longer in this manhua so now I’m not too pressed (though I still prefer if he weren’t forced and had actually married someone more suitable).

The best part is how they all continued to live together irl. But I’m also sad when dictator said thousands of years later… meaning they’re all dead by now and those were their descendants, right? :(
Artic x Kenshin was such a cool ship, I wonder if they ever got together, well I bet they did. Kenshin must still be alive, but not artic…. Uhhh we needed more chapters about the future, or maybe it is for the best otherwise I would’ve cried.
At times I hated prince’s arrogance and entitlement, it all started during the npc rebellion arc. Prior to that her character was the best and very likeable, well she still is but only at times… As for her daughter, I cannot like her at all, she has always been arrogant and entitled, a super cringe character. At least they’re doing good deeds around the world so I don’t necessarily hate the new prince and her daughter. The newer generation wasn’t done well in my opinion, but not only that. The plot went off the rails and the atmosphere became serious from the npc rebellion arc onwards. I feel like this manhua kind of lost touch with its essence. The plot and the characters became very cringe…

The ship that sailed at the end wasn’t satisfying at all. Hitomi and Shun had very little romance build-up in comparison to her with Oda. I’m genuinely confused, why did the author spend so much time on the romance build up between Hitomi and Oda just to make the other ship sail at the end? Could she have possibly changed her mind late in the story about which ship to make canon hmm.

Idk the chemistry between them was very sweet and definitely more present in the story. It would’ve also been kinda more acceptable seen as Hitomi and Shun were very close comrades in their past lives and had formed a brotherhood with their team. I rather find it weird for them to date now as male x female but that’s just against my personal preference. Would’ve been more acceptable to date a past life enemy seen as it’s not very uncommon for people to have a hate-mate relationship lol.

About the storyline, ngl it’s not really good lol. I’m also not a fan of whimpy female leads, would’ve liked to see some of her stronger suits.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve re-read this manhwa. It is so well written and executed that it’s almost addictive.
I live for bittersweetness, and this manhwa is the epitome of that. It is my fav gender bender story, suits my preferences so perfectly

The twin plot twist was horrible it left such a bad aftertaste
I had to skip through everything cuz of how disgusted I was by Sarang and jinwoo. I feel so bad for Woojoung, only read the scenes with him in it. I believe things could’ve worked out between the bestfriends, it needed some time and work. His twin coming into the play was just a huge turn off...

Also all the characters were toxic lol. None of them were innocent, but some were way more unbearable than others smh

I got left traumitized by the first story.. this has never happened before i’m used to Reading all typa Yaoi but that one suddenly turning Atsushi into uke was SOO unfitting, uncalled for and felt so forced it actually made me sick of reading for a min.
I am disgusted, dissapointed, traumitized like I absolutely didnt expect some random manga to give me these serious emotions.
I’ve read a lot of horrible stuff but ughh...

The art rlly ties these stories tgr. Plot is unfortunately to my liking since I like toxicity but it’s too bad MC is so much of a doormat I want to see toxic ML’s grovel
