Since past uke found the top dead before getting stabbed, it means that tops memory of getting stabbed by uke is wrong. It’s probably the brother (black snake) that transformed himself into uke and stabbed top and then stabbed uke later when he showed up. In short this is all the black snake’s fault lets all kill him. if you look at ch 16-17 closely it gets pretty obvious, many of the speech bubbles and text are slightly warped like they're bleeding pixels, and looking closely at the background or outline of the characters you will notice the same phenomenon. ofc I may be wrong but the moment I looked for officials off of another site it stops looking weird.

The difference between the manhwa and the novel is pretty big, especially in the characterization. For one thing hawoon is A LOT more innocent in the novel, nothing happens when they sleep together, he puts on his shirt properly instead of staying half naked, he doesn’t even know that his actions comes off as romantic. They also add a lot of inner dialogue to jeongwon in the manhwa about fanboying. They also cut out whole scenes like the pop quiz too… while the events are the same the characters don’t seem to be, it’s a weird adaptation imo. Not to say it isn’t enjoyable, but it’s very different from source material

I know this author is trying to do a long story for the first time but they definitely need to practice better writing skills, bc the last 10 chapters genuinely was just character assassination/regression for the top. No one likes unnecessary drama shoehorned in that just led to a bunch of abuse and noncon, and then expect everything to be forgiven later. Poor yoil (monday), he deserved so much better ToT shoutout to the side couple they’re fucked up and toxic but at least they respect each other.

Let’s not ignore the *fictional* part of my statement okay ToT in fact I abhor it. Being an asexual irl it absolutely disgusts me seeing women getting sexually harassed in any way. Fiction is a good way to learn what’s morally right and wrong, and we all know here that the rape and incest depicted here is bad, but the racism here is glaringly obvious yet you can tell the author or artist thinks nothing of it. That sort of thing revolts me, when someone can’t notice their own bigotry and tries to push their own bias as the norm. Anyways ik this is sort of a guilty pleasure read and I hope everyone reading it can separate the difference between fiction and reality.
