if you look at ch 16-17 closely it gets pretty obvious, many of the speech bubbles and text are slightly warped like they're bleeding pixels, and looking closely at the background or outline of the characters you will notice the same phenomenon. ofc I may be wrong but the moment I looked for officials off of another site it stops looking weird.

The difference between the manhwa and the novel is pretty big, especially in the characterization. For one thing hawoon is A LOT more innocent in the novel, nothing happens when they sleep together, he puts on his shirt properly instead of staying half naked, he doesn’t even know that his actions comes off as romantic. They also add a lot of inner dialogue to jeongwon in the manhwa about fanboying. They also cut out whole scenes like the pop quiz too… while the events are the same the characters don’t seem to be, it’s a weird adaptation imo. Not to say it isn’t enjoyable, but it’s very different from source material

I know this author is trying to do a long story for the first time but they definitely need to practice better writing skills, bc the last 10 chapters genuinely was just character assassination/regression for the top. No one likes unnecessary drama shoehorned in that just led to a bunch of abuse and noncon, and then expect everything to be forgiven later. Poor yoil (monday), he deserved so much better ToT shoutout to the side couple they’re fucked up and toxic but at least they respect each other.
God the mc suffers so much due to the selfishness of the people who’s supposed to love him and care for him. The gong is fine bc while he’s technically the reason why mc has his illness, it was bc he tried to protect him in his last moments in their past life. For those curious the reason why mc suffers his weird illness is bc when gong gave up his life to save mc from building collapse it ended up leaving mc alive with legs crushed slowly dying while stuck with gong’s dead body. So since he’s not truly dead yet in his past life the repercussions are affecting his current body as well.
And fuck the sister bc she’s so selfish, she hated the gong being mc’s bf in their og life so she wrote a novel where the character based on her brother is treated horribly and dies of suicide bc of character based on the gong. So when everyone gets reborned into the novel, mc is now constantly suffering from confusion between his past identity and current one (not knowing they’re the same person just reborn) she/he doesn’t say shit and let everyone thinks mc is crazy, leaving him confused and in pain 24/7. Fuck the former friend who also kept quiet to save his own ass bc he murdered his father for a better life. The younger sibling also keeps wanting to separate mc and gong, but she doesn’t say shit about the suffering her brother will go through (BECAUSE SHE FUCKING WROTE THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS), so he has to go through horrible things like kidnapping and forced drugging. They try to apologize after but it’s too late, and they don’t even apologize with mc in mind they just wanna get rid of their guilt. Good riddance mc no longer holds any affection for their younger sibling and former friend.

Noooo it’s a good series the smut scenes are also very good ToT I binge read the rest of the novel in one go so I can assure you it’s a good read (it’s a bit confusing tho bc mc is very muddle headed due to his illness so putting together the sequence of events was like a deduction game)

Yeah it is on purpose. That moment is the most clear memory that I have when trying to recall this novel. I'm sooo done with her/him. I tried to think positively about the younger sibling at the beginning of the story you know. But the more she/he show up the more unreasonable and selfish she/he became. Who is he/she to decide who's gonna be by his/her brother's side. She/he is so selfish.
