In the novel, ML suddenly panicked after realizing that he had indeed knotted inside MC. He has been a Golden Alpha throughout his life, known for his immense sexual control. He actually hated the fact that alphas are acting dominant over other genders by using their pheromones, and strictly trained himself not to release his own pheromones in any of his previous sexual encounters. He was utterly disciplined about it, always in control.
Yet since his encounter with UKE, ML has felt like his control could explode at any time. That's why in the first few chapters, he was acting rude toward the UKE but completely curious about his scent, which was a stark contrast to what UKE always claimed that he was a BETA.
In this chapter, ML finally lost himself in the midst of pleasure. Not even aware of what he was doing to the MC, like releasing his pheromones and even to the point of knotting, something he never did before. In the novel, he literally PANIC, and then scraped his semen out of MC's hole, haha. He only calmed down after MC comforted him, telling him he was a BETA, that he couldn't get pregnant.
And sooo...spoiler stopped here.
P.S. Don't worry, guys. MC didn't mind the ML knotting him. In fact, he loves it that their following sexual encounters can't be without KNOTTING. He demands to be knotted. Like twice or even thrice. I'm telling you, they are both freaky when it comes to lovemaking. One time, they even filmed themselves having sex.
According to his military enlistment record, he is really a BETA. But along his sexual encounters with ML, MC's body gradually changes. However, I'm on the 99th Chapter of the novel, and the fact that MC emits pheromones that only the ML can smell since their first encounter, still doesn't have an explanation.
hiii, i feel like i'm butting into this conversation lolll but i wanted to let u know that i have a full translation on my website <3

...and your blood pressure will just doubled. Finished it anyway. Guess I'm sick in the head since I enjoy stories like this, the wife-chasing crematuriom vibe.
Stripped of his position as a general, Lucy will be imprisoned in the North Palace, serving the Crown Prince in bed. Though the Crown Prince pampered him, the man was a complete ass, leading to multiple misunderstandings. But Lucy had tolerated the Crown Prince many times because he loved him.
The last straw for Lucy was the Crown Prince's approaching wedding to Salena (NOT SURE IF I REMEMBERED THIS CORRECTLY, INCLUDING THE FEMALE's NAME) — this pushed Lucy to escape from the North Palace.
A friend came to save him. It was successful. However, during the escape, he had severely wounded the Crown Prince, marring their separation with regret and bitterness.
With Lucy's absence, the Crown Prince gradually realized his wrongdoings, and chased after Lucy. It took him several months of chasing before finally getting his chance to catch him.
It was when Lucy was chased by another enemy from a nearby country, and the Crown Prince managed to save him. At their reunion, the Crown Prince conveyed his apologies and confessed his love for Lucy.
More unnecessary scenarios and voila! Happy ending.
This summary sounds pretty calm and cliché, but in the novel, there was lots of angst, especially in the chasing parts.
...if I already read the novel, I would no longer pay attention to the manhwa adaptation, but C.R. Jade's art dragged me back to this shithole. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This illustrator never disappoints. I could even develop a crush on the table, that's how gorgeous her illustrations are.
I used to feel the same way. But recently I started checking out adaptations, and if they didn’t feel worth it, I’d just drop them. That decision honestly paid off bcs that’s how I found the Reunion manhwa.
Reunion is actually one of those rare cases where the manhwa surpasses expectations, it adds a whole new emotional layer.
And yeah, C.R. Jade’s art is absolutely gorgeous, no argument there, but I agree it doesn’t always carry the same emotional weight as the novel, which is a bit sad. That said, I really need to say this about Reunion: the artist may not be on C.R. Jade’s level visually, but the execution is spectacular. The visual storytelling is incredibly strong.
This is one of those manhwas that’s worth reading bcs it genuinely translates the soul of the story into visuals.

...the angst just satisfied my masochistic soul. I feel so alive, wtf. More please.
