I Love Amy
Ichinensei ni Nacchattara
Up until chapter 48 it’s all pretty much fluff and ecchi stuff, no major plot developments just the angst and drama of a highschool boy being turned into an elementary girl. But the moment it hits 48 everything goes batshit insane, the sci fi themes and supernatural components all instantly appear and for a brief moment it’s like a whole genre shift from the rest of the manga. Then it goes straight back to normal for the rest of it after a few chapters.
Ngl this was a bizarre af read. Sometimes it’s a bit too ecchi but it really does hit you hard with some shock factor. This had me dumbfounded and screaming into a pillow on multiple occasions with how out of left field and hilarious some of the moments were. Overall pretty good. The ending was also good, it had a good finishing panel. Though gotta feel bad for Rin a little bit.
We also never learned more about the dad, spoiler ahead. It seemed to hint he was somehow linked to the American president and stuff? It’s like, a small connection that’s super easy to miss and could easily not even exist at all, but it seems to be hinting something there.
Ookami Shounen Wa Kyou Mo Uso O Kasaneru
For a hot second there, thought they were gonna try and share him. It was a cute story. As endings go it closed it off rather well, something most manga has difficulty doing. The last words really hit me in the feels honestly, because this story wasn’t just about the romance or love, but growth.
All of Humanity is Yuri Except For Me
Short and sweet, this author makes rather short ones but they are all very good. Honestly every single one has potential and could be expanded, but they make good quick reads. Always makes you want more. It’s almost downright criminal making such short yet gripping stories.
Idol Pretender
It was short and sweet, pretty good overall for a quick read. The ending was major disappointing though ngl. Needs to be longer to make such a thing pay off and give more time to each character. Would’ve felt better if the MC got with their original crush, especially since they had the most spotlight. It was pretty obvious where things were going though. It’s a common trope after all.
