Currently reading Onyx Storm, which if you don't know, is a straight romantasy new adult with minimal adult scenes and faaaaaar more plot focus than anything else. But to answer your question it is indeed YAOI but it takes a long time to get there. It will be a while. So definitely “slow burn”. Because even the smut has some plot that takes place before they do the do.

Hope that helps! The story is super cute though, so if you don’t expect the smut, it’s fun to read regardless. Not saying what you should do, but just recommending the cute parts of the story.

The reply to the OP wasn't wrong, if what someone is looking for FIRST before reading a BL is the presence of sexually explicit parts, can you truly say they aren't addicted to porn?
