I feel like this used to be a cliche but I don’t see many manwhas with it. Tons of mangas yes, but I don’t like reading without color. I’ve read the main ones like dangerous convenience store, my sadistic master, and one a little more niche Sunset in Water, along with a few others i can’t remember off the top of my head. I like the trope though
Has anyone else js given up on fan translations as a whole at this point? I know we’re all pirating here so there’s already some hypocrisy in this statement but I do miss when the fan translations were actually that. The AI ones are just so bad and I used to love seeing the translators notes(for example dangerous convenience store fan translation is one of my favorite things because the notes) or on the now dead site how they weren’t just solely machine generated. Esp with how long it takes for officials to come out it’s making me start to lose the love I’ve had for reading manwha anyway js yapping
I love this trope sm and need some more inspiration for my personal writing I’ve read payback, death delayed by a short time due to a will, trace of wonder, kill the villianess and a few others i can think off the top of my head. Any recs from all genres welcome i just need some help finding some
READ THIS FR YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!!!!! https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/echoes_of_footsteps/
Random question so im sorry, but why do all manhuas look the same? is there an actual reason they all have near identical art styles. With manwha and manga there seems to be a lot of like diversity in art styles but I never see that for manhua
From what I’ve seen and it’s definitely because I overanalyze everything abt the books I read including the graphics i motice tons of differences in the art styles when it comes to manwha, for manhua I notice the same bases like there are still differences esp in skill level and rendering but they seem to all follow the exact same principals to art while manwha takes the basics and branches out for their own stylistic choices

Alright bear with me here I’m moving soon, I know no German. What better way to learn rather than from my favorite silly stories that I practically have memorized to learn another language?? If someone has a better idea I’ll take that too
You could switch languages in manga updates, the only manhwa I really know with a German character/setting is passion. I think it’s also available in German too. But I suggest learning greetings and basic vocabulary first
wait I did not mean manga updates I meant manga dex
very much the opposite of a silly story lol but "the third decade" is set in berlin. from what i remember there's a bit of german dialogue here and there. best advice is to just drown yourself in the language. switch your phone and apps to german (keep a vocab list or you'll be lost) and get some german-speaking friends or a teacher to talk with you regularly
advice from someone who can speak 4+ languages. learn the basic of the basics, elementary level stuff, watch nursery rhymes. once you can interact even a little tiny bit, then comes the most crucial part, socialising. it is so important. I have grew up in a different country, I knew basics but I was unable to speak the language until FIFTEEN YEARS LATER cuz I would not talk to anyone. Once I started to speak to others, took me one year to become fluent in a language that is considered 2nd most hardest. also learning thru somthing you enjoy is great, but reading would not help much, watching is a much better approach, listening makes your brain more comfortable to the language and you'll start to be able to understand quicker
of you do watch any series or movies, do NOT use subtitles
Thank you!! This is so helpful I’ll definitely try this
