I have a feeling this story, who has potential, is gonna turn really ugly soon enough because of the one thing manhwas seemed to be good at: sex without consent.

Reading this made me realize there's quite a line between manhwa adaptations and novels. To me, the manhwa version made the ML's character less aggressive (symbolically). It's still much, but it will really make people be drawn to him quite easier despite his innuendos.
While reading the novel, to me, it felt like reading a psychopath get his way to love. Idk if it makes sense but reading all the details on the novel and how it builds his character made it harder for me to sympathize with him as a whole. I feel like the ML is still a red flag til the end, even up to the side stories. The chasing arch felt underwhelming which made it even hard for me to think he changed, although the novel conveys so. Whereas the manhwa, i think, did a really great job on toning down the MLs character to make him more likeable.
And i like that for this story. Idk if what i said makes sense but iykyk.
Is this like passion novel or worse?
I didn't read the passion novel, but based from what Ive seen from the manhwa, passion was worse.(I could be wrong tho)

He becomes aware of his wrong doings but he has no redeemable qualities. The bottom just loves him regardless.

dang i loved the novel of this one and has been waiting for the manhua version ever since bato was turned down.
This used to be my favorite manhwa but stopped midway during the flashbacks. Last thing i checked, it was when season 1 just ended, and was early season 2 where Ian does not remember anything. I've seen season 3 end but didn't dare check where i left things off.
Can someone tell me did Ian already remember things and are they back together? Or should i marinate this a little bit longer.
