I really hate Suah as a character and Suah's defenders man. I am not talking about people who like Suah, I am talking about people who will go at lengths to justify his actions or deny any bad things done by him. Some even turn it against Jh saying "Jh was begging to be raped". This was not ragebait comment. This one was someone genuinely going to war to defend Suah writing long long comments in instagram.
I think people who say "don't like, don't read" whenever there is criticisms for any manhwa they like are incredibly shallow. When you decide to include problematic things in your IP/work and not address it properly or how that problematic scene even affects the characters and story as a whole, you are gonna get heavy criticisms. This is not virtue signling. I would like there to be no rape or abuse in my story at all but even if there is, I want the author to do their due diligence to at least show us how that rape or abuse affected the story as a whole and the aftermaths of it.
For example, Suah raping Jh did not come out of the blue for me. I knew he was the type to do it and the story was building up to it. But the fact that the author brushed it off too easily and did not even bother addressing afterwards was a major problem. It felt like that scene was to show sex only. That's it.
It might be mean to say this but the authors who depend on rape to build a connection between two characters or skip the connections entirely to show smut to entertain the readers are incredibly shallow and lazy writers who depend on cozy clichés scenes and a good artstyles to create a popular story. Prolly gonna get downvoted for ts but who cares.
For the people saying there's young looking/baby faced asian men too, I agree. There are. Not just Asian, every race has some young looking men, same with women too. But do you really think the author is representing that? Is it really representation or the author's deliberate choice to make mc childish to sell the comic better. There's a difference between young looking and child looking. Plus in most manhwa, the uke is made out to be one with childish personality. So we have child looking uke + childish personality+ very young looking body and skin+ tiny shrimp for a dick. Do you really not see the author trying to hit a certain demographic here?
The author can make the ml 6'5 hyper muscular big dick and everything. Even if the author portrays them in their teenage 13/14 years, they are still drawn to be that muscular so why can't the same courtesy be extended to ukes? Why do we have to jump through mental hooplas of "there's some baby faced asian men" "it is common that some asian men look like that" "There's some genetics at play too".
The author's weird. That's it. Now will I go and harass the author over this? No. Will I knock at people's houses and police them if you should read this or not? No. You can read whatever you want. If you did not even comment, i would not have even known you popped in to read this. But you don't have to play defense for the author/artists. Even in real life, I won't go harass people who are dating young looking people because that's not my business. This is fiction and artists have creative freedom to create their characters. With that being said, if the artists deliberately choses to draw mc as childish and ml as a greek good then the author prolly has a fetish to sell.
The poor attempt at the small beard to make it look like Jh is depressed is killing me. If you really wanted that look, you should have gone all in to make it look like a rough small bush. It's inconsistent and just in random close up shots only too. lol.
Other than that, instead of calm and collected communication, this approach, de-approach, reapproach honestly fits their character very much. Although I would have like this bullshit to not have existed at all but sometimes it is kinda annoying to tackle difficult stuffs.
Instead of actually playing 4D chess, they are a bunch of 2D bots who over analyze stuff and keep creating blunders over and over again. They both share one braincell with two different personalities which keeps creating misunderstandings because it's lonely out there in their empty husk of a brain.
I know it's kinda annoying to point out the obvious but it's honestly so refreshing to see a character go through the motions of situationship and think about dating. Most of the bl don't do that. Like most characters would just go through the motions, fight, reconcile but that part where they seriously play things over and over again in the mind if it's okay to date or not is really not there. Like we always see those emotionally constipated characters get hit with these emotions of "love" right at the end of the series like a twitch streamer getting hit with the rays of the sun when they come out to touch grass for the first time in months.
The cover is deffo a shota bait. Thank god the preview chapter has a mature mc. and wtf are those pink armpits. I haven't even seen one girl have it that pinkish. Sure they have clean and bright but pinkish? gah damn brother

Every time I open this bl, all I see is cliché troupes, cliché scenes and corniest lines and the author is somehow in a hurry to reach to a point so we constantly move around, cut scenes and change scenarios so the emotional tension feels rather hollow. Things are happening just for the sake of story progression, not for fleshed out plot points. But still I like it as in I have to see how the pregnancy gets dealt with since the main focus is obv gonna be the pregnancy seeing how it has been hinted since the beginning.
Let me be honest here. These past chapters without Suah and only focusing on Jh have been so peaceful and fun and fulfilling. Suah is truly a shadow over Jh, his career and even the story in general. It's like everytime he appears on screen we know to be prepared for a stunt he is going to pull so we keep remaining on edge.
Mc has one singular old hamster running the wheels of his brain and is about to die, not because of his old age, but because how empty and lonely it is out there. This is pinnacle of bird-brained stupidity. I wish he would just let that poor hamster die and turn off his brain and start whoring himself out mindlessly.
I mean, as annoying as this is, it kinda gives me old days vibes where translators would constantly fight and upload over another. It's kinda funny. But the only uploads I'm reading are either Juju's or Dindin's. Others can kick rocks. Monkey brained activities.

See this is what I mean when I say Jh is impulsive. He goes from 0 to 100 quickly then again 100 to 0. There's no in between. It's either boiling hot or freezing cold. Garam....well.... he always goes to negative and is really passive about his relationship. I hate how mellowed down he has become as the story is going. Even his current character design reflects that. I don't hate twinks but I hate when the character design changes mid-way through the story to give them this "moe" appeal.
The author is certainly dragging this out too. I mean they are intentionally creating this extreme choices at every end. You coulda taken inspo from Banana Scandal s3, granted the theme of that manhwa is way different but queer identity, queer trauma, how couples should resolve issues, how to be a supportive partner and understand his traumas without acting like you are entitled to hear that trauma.
And anyone who is pissed about Garam not wanting to come out should genuinely go fuck themselves. I don't care if it sounds rude cause I meant to be rude. It's just blatant ignorance. You are here to read about two men loving each other but you can't even fathom why one person does not want to come out even with all the context clues and evidence. I mean if this how supposed "woke" people behave it's no wonder Jh's behavior makes sense because we are at a point in time where people try to be vocal about other people's opinions 'cause "they know what's best for them" or "it's not a big deal". I really don't know if he is a good guy or not because it's bs to decide after just one chapter but if he is a good guy then author is mad evil for showing a better love interest while the supposed endgame love interest is just a horrible horrible person to be around.
