Is this a spin off of another manhwa? Is it necessary to read that first then come back to this one? Because I'm not understanding somethings which is happening.
And I'm very lazy to read the prequel. Can anyone summarise what happened in the prequel so that I understand what's happening here.
I would just read the last 2 special chapters but even if you don’t the plot of that story really has no relevance here so you’re not missing out. It only shows how they met which is explained in the story as well. Pilsang the uke of this story is a somewhat an insignificant asshole side character in the other story. He gets kidnapped by the real villain of that story where he they give him this drug that makes him go in to heat. Kinda in an omega way but no pregnancy and it’ll go away. Jooeon the top of this story also doesn’t have a big role, he just comes in at the end and lends support to the main character and in doing so he discovers pilsang has been kidnapped so he gets him out. Jooeon keeps him at his place for protection and while pilsang goes into heat jooeon decides he wants to help out with that… when the main story wraps up pilsang leaves jooeon but is still experiencing the heat cycles and gets a robot for it but is unsatisfied, jooeon tracks him down and convinces him to stay till the heat cycles ends.

Hmm Dane can be considered a Red Flag but also he will be the only one who understands and stands by Grayson. Yes Dane is an asshole to Grayson and Grayson is just a cutie green flag the whole novel.

because Dane closed his heart and doesn't want relationships, he was constantly rude and ruthless especially to Grayson who clings to him. I pitied Grayson for so long, he's like the equivalent of MCs who acts pathetic to get MLs' attention in other stories. It was mostly funny but there are frustrating, pitiful, and angering situations.

He is literally kind to everyone else but Grayson for no reason at the start, he is like even when they trial date tries to cheat on Grayson so many times they all failed because of Grayson, Grayson is just so pitiful , Dane like literally treats Grayson badly like being mean and not caring about Grayson feelings but eventually he starts to become soft and by the end Dane is also craving for Grayson typa story it is
The part of just carelessly trampling on someone's sincere feelings. I couldn't specifically enumerate situations but you get the gist. Dane has understandable reasons but his way was just hurtful, may it be words or actions.
Heard he cheated or tried to… um what the hell eww I’m someone who hates cheating wah more than emotional or psychological disorder stuff please tell me they weren’t really exclusive. That would be 10x shittier if so. Dane is a whore so I expected something like non commitment but cheating is low. And was he ever in a relationship with someone? If he was, he probably had bad past or something. If not, understandable.

Chase's timeline for being mean was short compared to Dane. Chase folded fast lol But tsundere Dane? definitely not at the beginning. He really doesn't give a fuck full time.
