I am loving how much extra detail is being added to this section. The side story about the soldier and his children he was leaving behind was not in the WN. How Rimuru stopped and gave him his lockit back to reasure him that he would not kill his children before ending him, says quit alot about the amount of resolve Rimuru himself is committing to this. It is not just an emotional slaughter fest built from rage. He knows that regardless if they are good or bad people nor what their reasons were, he will end them. And not just to the eyes of humanity, but also self acceptance that he is truely a Demon Lord.

It's symbolic to him killing off the last bit of his humanity ( value and views from his old life) and fully becoming a denesen of this new world and it's messed upness ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Apart from all the spoiler content in the comments section. I want to state my opinions.
1. Super excited about this arch. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
2. For those rdy to jump on the "hate Hinata" band wagon. Plz go easy on her. She wont be anyone's fav character by any means. But her story and importance is huge. She just as a very stern and stubbern personality.
3. As for the "Church"; just like all religious doctrines. It is used as a convenient excuss to justify unwarrented actions. In this case, Farmes Kingdom to envade and claim Tempest.
4. In the WN, Rimuru allowed the skill "gluttony" to be released into a physical form. This put Hinata at a disadvantage, because true to name, it devoured all attacks and skills she threw at it. As a last resort, she used her/the church's most power spell (Disintegration). During the battle Great Sage analizes and stores all consumed abilites including this and the sealing barrier.

For those interested. Here is the web novel
https://www.readlightnovel.org/solo-leveling
It has 268 chapters. However, currently only up to chapter 140, I think, is properly translated. The rest is like reading a jigsaw puzzel with missing pieces. If you dont get too frustrated, the poor translation gets really hilarious at times.

There's an official translation at Webnovel website called 'Only I Level Up ', translated currently at chapter 131. Link below.

Now this is solely my opinion. I have read alot of manga that where.... lets just say for a select audiance. Some where just as disturbing if not more so in their own right as this one. So I have a pretty high tolerance for graphic discription. Plus my husband is an actual detective so I've seen my fair share of actual cases. But nothing has ever come close to how much depth these characters have been given. This manhwa has pulled my emotions in so many directions, that I am left speechless. I could feel how deeply twisted each charaters' personalities were. How their gentic family tree tilted their desposition to a certain path that their environment reinforced. The fact the the two MCs very toxic yet co-dependent relationship play so well into their development, almost always in a negative way. At points I felt like I was in Bums position, only able to see Sangwoo as an overly fantazied hero; which clearly to the audiance he is anything but. And I could almost feel Sangwoo's mental breaks. Like flashes of my sanity eroding away. This manhwa had actual frieghtened/disgusted me so much that I would have to put it down mid way through a chapter. I had also felt alot of self hate for empathizing with their reletionship, "turning the rest of the world as the enemy mentality". Its just been... Wow. I cant wait to see how it ends.

I really enjoy Ramiris. Her character stays fun and loveable thoughout the entire series. And if they continue the manga and anime for the whole web novel ( which is like 250 chapters by the way) then we get to see alot more of her quirkiness. Lol

SPOILER ALERT!!
"not to important to plot development" but may hint to alot of possibilites too early

Ramiris, Milim, Rimuru and Veldora make a virtual gamers' club. It was really fun to imagine these scenes and I hope they find time to fit them in. They are really far along the story line so unless they put it in the side manga or something we might not get to see them.
