There was a historical manhwa like 2 years ago or something it was popular (not completely sure about the date) the FL was very lucky when it came to money her family was rich because of her luck with money but she was very unlucky with love. She had a stereotypical bad guy as her boyfriend/fiance basically the dude was only with her for money and was also cheating on her. So she made a deal with the ML who is a scary Duke of the north as everyone sees but he is actually a big teddy bear. There was also a girl he was forcefully engaged to and had a abusive mother I think. Does anyone know this manhwa?? If it helps the FL had blond hair and the ML had black (stereotypical duke of the north look)
As a person who's first language isn't English I feel so awkward reading any sort of manga, manhwa or fanfiction ( especially anything with character shipping) in my first language IT'S SO EMBARRASSING FOR SOME REASON
No no I get it. It's like when I'm reading it in English, I can be fully immersive in the story. Feeling like I'm there and all, but when it comes to reading it in my first language. It just feels so weird..
ESPECIALLY the conversations in the manhwas. They talk so formal in my first language, no slang or anything. Like they be talking like they're in a interview for a job or some shi. It makes me feel so embarrassed lmao (^~^;)ゞ
OMG FOR ME ITS KINDA THE OPPOSITE THE SCAN GROUPS IN MY FIRST LANGUAGE ALWAYS USE SLANG. It’s so awkward because imagine hearing a manhwa character saying something you or your friends quote from tiktok. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate anyone putting time and effort into this sort of thing and there is something special about seeing memes in your first language about a manhwa.
Like once in a manhwa there was a song playing in the background and the scan group rather than translating it they just added a well known song in my first language I can’t even explain this to people who don’t speak it but imagine despacito lyrics in a korean manhwa (ofc the song wasn’t despacito this is just how it felt like to me) It feels like a very embarrassing inside joke. But it’s also very cozy to speak to people in your first language under the comments. You feel a very special bond. It’s nice once in a while :3

The MC was a girl with dark hair who was addicted to her phone then her phone turned into a human. (I think the phone was given to her by her dead mother) The now human phone is trying to help her fulfill some of her goals like getting good grades. One of the goals was to get surgery. The human phone and the MC don’t end up together and have more of a sibling relationship. Because the MC had a different boy as her crush or boyfriend or whatever. The phone does turn into an actual human in the end I think. Idk it’s kinda weird but I would appreciate if anyone knows this manhwa
