This is horrible and crazy, but somehow I keep reading and the only actual thing what is bothering me is the huge age difference. Why it can't be "just" 10 years?

He was still partially thinking of company image/outside image, even if he would claim it to be damage control to show Pilsang the news about marriage isn't true.
I sure hope Pilsang manages to build a life for himself and his own self-esteem before ML meets him again, because MC needs something to stand his ground.

Despite that still a good modern story. And makes me remember how far Japanese BL has come. There were similar shounen-ai stories before while yaoi was in its rape arc in Japan, but nothing like this.
I love it how most of it has balanced out, and we can get now boring and realistic yaoi slice-of-life relationship stories. And the relationship problems isn't about just them being gay, but all the normal problems about age and relationships in the past.
Still, this shiet is too boring for me, but I'm just not into this much basic slice-of-life stuff... Doesn't matter what genre the story is.
I just have to stop reading until chasing and groveling arc starts... If that even comes.
I'm starting to think this is just a trick to pull readers along and then nothing really happens. This much anticipation usually ends with a flop and disappointment.
Nobody has promised the readers those things anyway... We just hope and cope.

Chapter 39 read like abusive relationship. It wasn't cute. ML didn't really give any real explanation why he didn't tell about the blind date. Just something so in the situation MC would just let it go pass... Like IRL this would be full on He is cheating, of course the series probably tries to make it more complicated, but ML is manipulation MC like a full on abusive partner.

And I know this probably get downvoted because people here are really young and gotten use to rape in BL manhwa and stuff, so they probably can't see any social/emotional manipulation signs... But ML has suddenly become major red flag. He is controlling the relationship and is clearly lying.
Even the idea of penetration sex doesn't feel like anymore as MC's idea, now it starts to feel like that ML manipulated and guided MC into more thinking of that - because MLs behavior changed so much. Is he waiting for MC ask to be raped? (Because no way it's going to be switch.)

This whole series suddenly went really dark... I can't think of anything actually good coming from ML's behavior now. Well he did clearly skip school so he would be there at the same time as MC... So he does have some Yandere tendencies, but this point, I start to think he is full on Yandere and MC going to end up in some kinda cage, while ML is free to roam.

ML feels so unnervingly iffy right now that it's scary. It feels like series slowly might turn into horror story.
You guys should check the year this was made before getting confused or mad why the story is this way.
Basically this was it shounen-ai/yaoi wise in that time. There was some weird rule, either unspoken or actual censorship, that gay relationship shouldn't be shown too good of a a light in Japanese manga at that time.
You can see it when you read these mangas from 90's early 00's, but slowly it changes in 00's to better, and the change kept going from 2010 to this day. There were some rare cute low-key shounen-ai stories that theme was struggle of being gay, but most were something like this or something like Viewfinder.
And even this has kinda underlying theme about being gay is okay, but it's not been allowed to be the actual main focus, the loudest parts are about someone being faggot and gayness being forced or otherwise bad. The real message is there, but most of it had to be hidden.
At least mangas evolved and leveled up when it comes to gay things while Manhwa are going backwards into every BL being just rape.
It's mean that everyone just all the time think and act like FL is an idiot... She isn't an idiot. NOBODY tells her ANYTHING. Not when she was a child, not in the family she married into, and definitely not ML. Everyone just have decided what she is supposed to know without telling her. ARGH!
All the people around her are idiots because they keep relearning the fact that she hasn't grown up in same environment as they are, so she has different knowledge. At this point THEY should know that she doesn't know these things.

The most awful thing in top of this is that he is doing that while not acknowledge the MC as a person. I don't care that if it's because they met before and maybe MC had a new name, or what ever is the wild story aka excuse for that...
Right NOW ML making MC to matter so little as a person, that even I as a reader starting to forgot Jung Woo-yeon's name.
Maybe if there is a novel, there it's explained that ML calling Jung Woo-yeon a guide is some kinda thing of him respecting MC, but if that is the case... The Manhwa sure doesn't explain or even acknowledge that part at all.
ML seems to be developing backwards. Speed running to the toddler age.
I hope there are actual character development, even if he has to start from being a baby and not everything is okay because he found the miracle plot armor flower what ever to cure FL.
I don't care if finding it is dangerous, unless there is character growth.
Like some others have said: Dynamics changed too much.
I'm not complaining about this being red flag, actually at this point more like black flag, I was ready for it... I also never expected ML would get actually romantic or have some regret arc/learning to be human arc. This is mafia stuff, basically action, psychological and horror.
And their character types were introduced early on, neither one of them is a green flag. Ryan's red just looks like cute pink when next to ML, that is so dark red it's going black from blood that was used to color it.

But what I was hoping for that there would be more of a chase dynamic, like at the start, where both hold cards and Ryan had at least some ways to fight back.
ML destroyed everything right away... What is kinda weird in the character side of thing, because MLs characters seems like someone if this all was so easy, they wouldn't be that interested anymore.

Also... What they do now? Just smut smut smut? More abusive than better? In every chapter? Even if there would be some crazy plot twist that Ryan trapped him, and there actually are things happening background to bring ML down... We don't see it. And if there isn't... There is now actual goal for the plot anymore, other than Ryan escaping for good.
(ML forcefully taming Ryan using SA etc. isn't a plot, it's just 50 shade wrong Pornhwa.)

Hard to have any actual hope for the story, but I know this will keep the high rating because of horny bastards that don't care about plot at all. Fine.
But it's annoying when there was promise of actual plot and interesting character dynamics.
Japanese BL mostly have gone past the rape era, and we have a lot of stories like this, while manhwa (and even some censored manhua) just ramping up the whole SA stuff.... Throwing all the rules to trash pin.
Even when manhwa tries to make consented smut it reads like ML forcefully stuffing a baseball bat into uke's arse.
Good stories like these keeps reminding me how everything smutty in manhwas keeps reading like a rape, and it's not romantic or feel like consent at all.
And sad thing is that many younger readers don't know anything else than manhwa BL smut, thinking that is the normal, and it has always been just like that.
The person who is calling and watching from the camera is the thing what is growing up right now. Those alien cells are somehow connected, or he can control devices.
They have met before, at least one version of the alien have met MC before.
Some reason that being needs to regularly grow a new body - and that new body might need a host to cling on to.
Or someone choose MC to be next host for the alien, but honestly that someone seems weirdly too flirty. So I still believe that the alien cells are somewhat connected.
Either way, I'm pretty sure that MC was chosen a long time ago and not just now.
