I was looking for the novel but the rating there is so low in novelupdate and i was so hesitant to read it, and it feels like the webtoon made the novel look better based from the reviews.
I guess it's better to stick with the webtoon and wait patiently for the translation
ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I alread read the novel and i can tell, i'm upset that many interactions between asher and aria was cut, many things that is really important too, like in the festival where he kissed her forehead.. i know that when the maid died, they cut, but aria went and was wonderful... But yeah, manhwa is good, but the novel was amazing.. the low reviews must be because the sidestories are very disappointing... But, it's good
As for me...am a hypocrite 'cause I like reading yaoi and bl novels, but when it comes to real life lgbtq+ I would have to say NO....am flawed after all.
I'm sorry love if my free speech has come off as unkindly to you...I don't know your name, age and where u are from but I don't hate u or the lgbtq+...it's not the people or anyone in particular, it's the system.
And don't worry am not homophobic since my best friend (a girl) has in fact a
girlfriend and I (surprise) do not hate her. She a dear friend to me.
this is straight out hate speech and harrassment how the fuck are you gonna justify it by saying "its free speech"???
i feel bad for your friend having someone who'd "say NO" and feel disgusted by lgbtq people by her side.
you're deadass saying its ok for fictional people to have rights but real life gay people? nah they dont deserve shit
Oh, if u know some mangas with great plots that I havent read yet then why not share them to me because I think I read most of the of the popular and unpopular mangas that are nonBL. And if u want to know my all-time favorite manga then check out Ran of the Gray World and Song of the Long March.
A touch of slice of life, fantasy and seinen (which are my favorite genres)
Bruh, what system? The gay agenda lol. Or are you talking about the lgbtq+ community? If so, I'm curious what you disagree with? And just because you have a friend who is gay doesn't mean you can't be homophobic. It's the same thing as saying that just because you have a black friend means you can't be a racist. " but when it comes to real life lgbtq+ I would have to say NO....am flawed after all." I don't think this defines your stance too well. Do you mean that you don't enjoy lgbtq+ content? And no one said anything about your "free speech." So why do you have to victimize yourself like that. People were rightfully pointing out that fetishizing MLM relationships is wrong and harmful. I think it's fine to enjoy reading yaoi and bl novels. But when you are uneducated or prejudice against the lgbtq+ community, reading things like yaoi and bl novels can impact your perception of real-life individuals in a harmful manner. After all, it's advertised as being made by women for women. Reading this content also doesn't mean you aren't homophobic. After all, it is fictional. If you have any questions or want to talk about my points, feel free to do so from your local gay.
No, you actually got everything right, my friend.
Am not interested in the lgbtq movement because it's an endless cycle of arguing the same thing all over again and again in the rallies, protests and churches and etc....and yet there is no peaceful talking it over with the pros and nonpros...it always ends in shouting and almost cat-fighting or if not, a one-sided debate/arguing...pointing fingers here and there, even a random passerby can be blamed to all what they've been through.
And this comment section is close enough to what I described.
Yeah, but we are literally just fighting for our basic human rights. And the other side opposes this. The pros and nonpros are literally like yo you want human rights? Yeah well, gay bad because it is ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ it's that simple, and we mainly do it in the "peaceful" way. And even if we didn't, it's literally about our human rights. This isn't a joke. This isn't being dramatic people literally get killed for being lgbt+. When I was in 4th gd, I got beat up almost every single day because I'm a lesbian. So, of course, I'm going to have a non-negotiable stance about this.
"there's no peaceful talking" people who don't agree with lgbt people literally oppress us and want to take away our rights. there's no peace automatically when y'all say you don't agree with us, when we're literally just born this way and don't want to be oppressed for it. there's rallies BECAUSE of the oppression we face - we don't just do it for fun? lgbt rights shouldn't be a debate.
as a straight person, I hope you realize how dumb you sound for complaining about the endless cycle of us fighting for our rights when WE'RE THE ONES WHO ARE IN LITERAL IN DANGER. also, the audacity of not understanding why people are mad at you for being homophobic under a manga about acceptance ........
(Complete neutral here) can see why people can get mad about the phrasing but the picture I’m getting is that most likely they’re not really criticising lgbt movement but the way it’s been gone about, kind of like when women were being treated unequally the suffragists stepped in to negotiate peacefully voting rights for women but the generation after the suffragettes (different group that came after) were seen as militant and straight up ‘violent,’ less women supported them but that doesn’t mean those women wanted to go back to the kitchen - they just wanted a more peaceful method ?Not to say the lgbt community is exactly like this but I don’t really see the op as being homophobic, they just most likely didn’t like the way they saw part of the community enforce their beliefs on others and that’s their experience
Idk man im bisexual so i know how hard it is for the ppl who is lgbtq but she didn’t say when it comes to real life she just pretends like she’s grossed out? She said no? Idk she didn’t expalined what that “no” means
I know why y’all are angry for but even someone is homophobic they are human.. and we’re human as well. Im bot siding with anyone im siding with my thoughts she said that she is a hypocrite so i think she doesn’t like her cowardly side too but why so many insults? She didn’t say i hat lgbtq or insult she said no, I actually still don’t know what thay no means and if it means a very aggressive no then i have nothing to do but to ignore, i get why y’all defending tour rights, the world became such a cruel place that ppl who is outed by homophobic ppl becomes aggressive bc homophobes are aggressive too. You can defend yourself however you want but not with insults pls, try to explain even if u know it won’t work.. bc behaving like this won’t make us and different from homophobic ppl. They hate us and insult us and we hate they and insult them. Im not saying we have to like them but being less aggressive is better in my opinion. I hope the ones who had a hard time bc of their sexualities will be accepted. Bc love is love and we are all human. I hope my words don’t hurt anyone I just wanted to share my thoughts:)
(Bruh i seemed so life loving lol tho i really want this comment section to understand each other without insults :))
plss im not reading all that they literally said they dislike actual lgbtq+ people and then read yaoi manga,,, anyone who is like that is facking mentally ill bro... homophobes are assholes and they deserve to be bullied. how u dont support human rights? like u said lgbtq+ people r just... people that deserve to have rights
If it’s like you say than yeah it’s bad and like they literally don’t make any sense at all but there are homophobic people who accepts lgbtq ppl too (im not talking about them) I clearly support human rights im not saying that homophobic ppl are great and i get pretty irritated too but I don’t think insulting them and bullying them makes us no different than them.. maybe they have traumas caused by a similar case and that’s why they’re like this (even tho that’s not an excuse) why don’t we just be the bigger man and don’t just throw their insults to them? I mean yeah you can take the starch out of them but insulting them doesn’t do them a thing at all.. if i would want to quarrel with someone i would choose words that actually make them feel bad
Yes i get what you mean and im saying they’re narrow minded but bullying them will make us like them! I mean yeah you can curse at them but that won’t change anything bc they will make the quarrel bigger. Bc they’re narrow minded ppl and arrogant. Normally when I encounter a homophobic acting all like that i just say mind your own business and don’t interfere with ppl and if they say anything im just ignoring it bc ignoring them is the actual way to piss them off (i mean they usually get pissed off ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ)
I have a feeling Jun's reflection can also do the things that Yeon-Woo's reflection does (which manifests as hands or whatever they are). But, ya see, our Jun is still sane enough from getting 'help' from his reflection to deal with people he dislikes.
That's why instead of lashing out or getting angry at other people, he directs it to himself instead to keep himself from hurting them as his reflection wanted him to do. (but it seems it's changing due to Yeon-Woo's influence)
And weirdly enough, I find the movie theater scene so hilarious where Jun realized he wasn't holding hands with Yeon-Woo and then he started shaking while Yeon-woo was casually sipping his wine...lmao...
I didnt find it scary especially when I already watched the Light's Out movie (being shown in that chapter's screen) which seems pretty funny to me because me and my friends enjoyed watching Bred/Bredth/whatevrr the man's name was kicking the ass (let's just say escaping from the hands of the ghost) XD while Jun is shaking like a leaf (because it excites him so much lmao)
There's something about Jun that captures me instantly. Is it because he's handsome and has an air of maturity? BUT then I realized fcking no and yes!!!! AHHHHHHH HE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE MALE LOVE INTEREST OF "THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME!!!!!" I HAD A CRUSH ON THAY GUY FOR YEARS AND THEN I SEE THIS! I AM OBSESSED!!!!

Heard somewhere (her twitter, i guess) that the author will continue working on this one after she's done with her current manhua (Song of the Sky Walkers)....
what is her twitter?
(⊙…⊙) source? I know there's a drama that could tell me what ends up happening but I am not the biggest fan of watching tv so I'd love if the artist continues the story some day
The drama doesn't hold a candle to the manhua. The actors don't suit the characters. The plot was more focused on romance than in the manhua. I find it hard to believe the original author had any input in the drama at all, because the whole vibe is different from the manhua. I'll just keep rereading the manhua instead.
That is so true...never did like the drama version. The manhua is more plot-centric and the subtle romance is the cherry on top. Re-read it four times and each time I learn something new that I haven't noticed before. The latest chapters were the best part of the story. Loved it to death. I'd go back to it even if I'm old XD
Yeah…after I wrote the comment I went to go skim what happens in the drama out of curiosity and I seriously questioned my life choices after that…the plot was quite different than what I had expected, and they felt out of character and their motives were very romance motivated which is not the case in the manga. Also two of the biggest plot points where they go to find their families got cut out probably because censorship because we can’t have two main characters who aren’t fully Han chinese ig
I've found a post on twitter from @/MangaMoguraRE from Jul 30 speaking about this news, hope that helps!

OMG thats amazing! I've been waiting for this for YEARS
Is it true? I really hope it is true
Yeah... I watched the cdrama too. Tbh I was set off by the dynamic they forced, the cliché romance etc, subplot and cliche that felt very soap opera like. I think what put me off (feel free to disagree) was Chang ge going often "Is it because I'm a girl?". I don't know it made me cringe. Like both in this comic and first episodes they clairified she is highly respected for her wits, why would the drama bring that up often. Like everyone went after her in the comic because they knew what she is capable and is not underestimating her bc of genders at all. Ngl drama was good but didn't capture the charm of the comic which for me was the protag change of heart in pursuing revenge and the 2 leads pursue of their roots and family and their reversal position after. Her from runaway and military advisor to princess and him from general to a prisoner of war and receiving help from her (the same way he did when he took her under his wing).
I agree! It felt like I was watching a completely different story from Chang ge xing! The cdrama couldn't capture what I really loved about the manhua.
