i've been waiting for mirae and wookyung ever since mirae arc years ago and we finally getting it. i read the raw and now im just hopelessly waiting for the new chapters to come out
Honestly I couldnt get enough of this story, or maybe I couldnt get enough of Rosen and Ian. this story was short but it ended beautifully. It's quite rare to see stories that touches deep and dark topics like war and abuse to a deeper level. This story shows what a war does to the citizens and also to those in the frontline. I love how it shows how much Ian was impacted by it and doesnt glorify Ian as a hero as much. Rosen too was a victim of physical and sexual abuse. the story didnt just gloss over it. it shows everything that she went through and what she did for survival. Unlike most stories out there that tend to put these kind of topics just to brush it over and act like nothing happened.
Also Ian is like the most ideal man ever. I cannot stop saying how perfect he is. he's caring and respectful. he yearns for rosen and yet he knows to let her go. he isnt overly simping for rosen and can think rationally. he knows what he wants and not simply does it just because female lead wants it, cus i kinda hate male leads who are borderline obsessed and act like a dog who cant think for themselves. Though Ian is the type that typically would be potrayed as aloof or cold, he's far from it and knows how to express himself. he isnt shy, nor cold, nor timid. He is strict but gentle. he is simply honest and true to himself.
anyway, pls suggest any manhwa with such man so i can move on from ian connor.

can they stop showing the police academy characters. i dont want to be reminded that they are dead now. why do they have to be dead in the current timeline. pls bring them back alive. I NEED THEM SO BAD
i love the side stories. it's nice to see how the previous timeline went. i like judith even in her precious timeline. she was a bad aunt but she was also hurting. she was a child as well when she lost her only sister and had to take care of a kid when she barely could survive on her own. i like that she came to rudriger to gave that advice. even when she was not a good aunt, deep down she still care about luca.
this is long overdue but like it still baffles me why both twins had to receive a scar on their face. it was said to differentiate them but then they should've just gave it to one of them. it's easier to remember which one has and which one doesn't have a scar. but sincr they gave them both, now i need to remember which one has it on the left and which one has it on the right.
i've been enjoying the side stories so much. love that the author gave us more on claude and anastacius relationship. it really brings out claude out of his shell. when he's with anastacius, he becomes so childish and petty, and it's refreshing to see that. after all, they are siblings.

honestly i dont quite like the ending of the author and cliff. felt like it was rushed to give them a bad ending. is cliff genuinely a bad person tho? cus idk he seems to be heavily manipulated by the author and i thought it was the 'novel' power that makes him obsess over reeze. i wonder why he never broke from the novel character
ngl was a bit touched by the brotherly love of the sinclair brother to his sister. still hate him for hurting reeze tho. like leila said, if only they treated reeze nicely from the beginning and share the sibling love, perhaps they would be a happy family.
im glad i discovered this. it's a short and beautiful manhwa. i love that the plot is pretty much in one setting. it makes what seemingly look like a short encounter actually becomes a meaningful one. And I like how it touches the impact of wars for the heroes and the citizens. tbh i didnt know what kind of story it would be and almost dropped it few chapters in. glad that i continued reading it and at one point i didnt even realise i couldnt stop. the romance is subtle but left me satisfed. it was a good read
I have to say I really enjoyed this manhwa. I'm not a huge fan of prolonged misunderstanding but I can do with this one because the misunderstanding is funny rather than frustrating. I also enjoyed the dynamic between those 3. I like that the relationship between Juvelian and Max is mostly happy without much conflict cus honestly i cannot bear through another heartbreak after what happened to Legis.
My heart breaks so much for Legis that I cried so hard. It's like every little happiness he could ever achieved got taken away from him. despite being the hero of the empire, he ultimately was left alone. Ngl I wished he would die just so he can reunite with Amelia and be with her for eternity but I know he wont do that for Juvelle. But that's just how much it hurts me watching him suffer. I've never seen a character who went through so much sufferings as him. In previous life, in current life, he has sacrificed so much for his loved ones. I teared up when Amelia showed up briefly at the end, but as she disappears and Juvelle went back to the palace, I realised he's left alone once again. Sincerely from my heart, I hope Legis dies soon and spend the rest of his time with Amelia peacefully up there.

Arc 1 – The Downfall of the Black Mansion
• Deon fights with Lante until Cassis arrives and kills Lante.
• Sierra, Emily, and Beth rescue the gravely injured Deon.
• Roxana decides to leave the Black mansion to live in seclusion until her death.
• Jeremy stops her, promising to rebuild the mansion into a place she’d want to return to. He then became the new Black master.
Arc 2 – The Blue Mansion and Fipellion Intrigue
• Cassis finds Roxana collapsing, brings her to the Blue mansion, heals her, and purifies the poison from her body everyday (basically they kiss)
• Orka, the White heir, and his cousin, Pandora Fipellion arrive at the Blue Mansion after following Roxana's poisonous butterflies while they were demon hunting
• Orka becomes obsessed with Roxana, while Pandora who were interested with Cassis tried to scare Roxana away using her own monster
• Instead Roxana summons her butterflies and they feast on the other demon. Pandora was then kicked out from the Blue mansion.
• Cassis and Roxana’s relationship deepens (≧∀≦)
Arc 3 – The Gold Mansion and Nix
• Noel Vertium, the young master of the Gold Clan, invited/blackmailed Roxana to the manor
• Noel introduced her to Nix, a puppet created from her dead brother Achille’s body.
• Nix at first put on a facade in front of Roxana by trying to act like Achille
• While silently, Nix would poison Roxana's tea for amusement (unaware of her immunity)
• When confronted, Nix attacks Roxana but is defeated
• Cassis witnesses the fight and accuses Noel of illegal human puppet-making.
• Nix is then taken away by Roxana.
Arc 4 – Prelude to Chaos
• Dante, Noel’s most loyal steward, plans to steal back Nix and kill him to get rid of evidence of Noel’s puppetism on human remains
• Dante stumbled upon Deon and is killed by him.
• Learning of Dante's death, Noel tried but fails to revive Dante and decides to use Nix’s heart instead.
• At the five-clan meeting in Ygdrassil, Noel’s puppet army invades and attacks everyone in a mission to steal Nix.
Arc 5 – Ygdrassil Massacre
• Amid the chaos, Orka tries to kidnap Roxana but she managed to get away by poisoning him
• Nix escapes, learns of Noel’s plan of taking his heart, and nearly kills Noel, his own master.
• Deon attempts to kill Nix but loses an arm protecting Roxana
• Nix fled from Ygdrassil and Deon chased after him, vanishing together.
Arc 6 – Aftermath and Ending
• Roxana and Jeremy return to the Black mansion as co-masters. Cassis and Roxana maintain a long-distance relationship for a while
• Weeks later, Cassis, Jeremy, and Roxana went to search for Nix and found him rotting away.
• Fragments of Achille’s memories began surfacing in Nix
• Roxana tries to reunite Nix with their mother but creates a butterfly illusion instead as time ran out before Nix disintegrates.
• Roxana brought Nix remaining clothes to her mother and they buried his clothes and held a small funeral.
