Guyyyyyyys so I don’t understand Korean but I was reading through the raws to try and figure out what was happening through the pics and I saw a scene with them being very emotional the fading into a wedding scene(I’m talking about the side couple)though I don’t have the full context of this scene and it might just be one of their imaginations but it looks like their properly getting MARRIED ♂
Is it just me who low-key dislikes the family
Hmm but then again, they're more lenient w mc than normal noble families, since in the other books and stories I've read, the family either strips away the noble title from their child or abandon them entirely. It was understandable for MC's father and brother to act as such, but no you're not the only one
I do respect them for that but what i get pissed at is how my guy had to pick up the title of heir at such a young age because of his “sickly” brother and let’s be honest the parents are not stupid the must know he’s faking(or maybe he’s not faking it but he sure does act like he is). But are for some reason turning a blind eye and from what I’m guessing they also didn’t treat the two brothers equally and shouldn’t the brother be a little bit more grateful to his younger brother who shouldered all of the burdens he himself was suppose to carry and got to live a free leisurely life and can I also talk about how Hedric fells more like his father than his own actual father and it is hinted at many times that his father usually just dumped my guy on Hedric when he couldn’t deal with him and I hate how the story plays this off in a joking manner or completely does not address it because it feels like their trying to play it off. Words cannot describe how aggravated I get when I see any of them on screen ヽ(`Д´)ノ
NO !! that was the only thing i felt was lacking too!
sure, they weren’t completely evil, and they clearly cared for luan in their own way, but they definitely neglected him. they put too much pressure on him as a child, and they didn’t even pay him attention. they favored luan’s brother, and i understand he needs more care bc he was prone to getting sick, but that doesn’t justify neglecting your other kid. this is the only thing that frustrated me about this story, because in the end it felt like they never even learned of the shit they were doing to luan and how their neglect affected him so much. the count at one point was wondering why clauden meant so much to luan, and i was so pissed because regardless of romance, clauden was one of the only people that actually cared for and paid attention to luan— of course he’d be significant. if the count actually cared enough to learn about his son beyond giving him orders and training him to become the heir, then maybe he’d know why clauden had such an impact on luan.
We’re getting an anime adaption of this peak it’s coming out on April 2027 here’s the trailer:
