it's a pretty straightforward story, nothing much to it. it's a good read if you want a lighthearted and wholesome story about two people getting together, just within the guideverse.
tho there are some details, like i cringed at the extreme pda that they showed all throughout the story, urk what are they, exhibitionists? also they glossed over yoon-oh (mc) getting raped like hello???? nobody ever mentioned it after so the act was just never properly addressed and like... maybe it's just me but why the hell did they kiss right after? he just had another man's dick forcefully shoved in his mouth or did everyone just forget that part? I'm soooo confused. i wish they just scrapped that whole thing off
dare i say the most embarrassing shit I've ever read. the secondhand embarrassment i got from the MC's misinterpretation urk. but it's still cute and it got resolved in the end so...
i get the hate on the art cuz it's so overstimulating, each pannel is just filled with every filter/effect from ibis that it just strains your eyes. tho the outfits certainly eat. i don't really get the hate on the story itself, she's not a strong female lead nor is she completely dumb, she's just someone trying to survive within a world she's destined to die in, a person who makes mistakes. i genuinely liked the characterization, the dialogues, especially each characters' monologue– that's mainly what drew me in. the pacing seemed reasonable, there was the build up from her piecing together and finally finding out his real identity and i actually cried at the wedding scene lol. the chemistry between the two of them is there. the scenes after the wedding made sm sense and the resolution was satisfying. has its corny moments and 3 mls kinda seems excessive, can men and women not be platonic anymore? anyway this is a good read if you don't get overwhelmed easily lmao
not related but, why are the uploaders fighting?? pls lorax quit uploading over people and stealing chapters from other uploaders. original works should get as much support as possible on their platforms and you're not helping. really appreciate the other uploaders for buying the chapters and directly supporting the authors & artists. thank you
