Kiinda, depends on how you look at it. After he lost Hadi he just became a hollow shell - taking drugs to numb the sorrow / hallucinate happy times with Hadi, slept with male prostitutes who looked like Hadi, etc. Once he found Hadi again he was enraged / jealous because he saw him and Maximus making love. He managed to force Hadi to go back to him because technically he owned him as a slave and he tried so hard to make up for his past mistakes, poured love into Hadi, etc. but ofc nothing worked. Hadi's heart had already died he was just confused why Tiberius was doing all this and wondered if it's another act.

Tiberius kept Hadi trapped in his house but one time Hadi was able to leave so he spent the entire day with Maximus at Marius's house. Tiberius went insane looking for Hadi and when Hadi finally returned, he saw Hadi was covered in hickies from Maximus and still had his semen in him. Hadi talked about his days as a prostitute, how he met Maximus, and how much he loved sleeping with Maximus to hurt him. Tiberius was furious so he forced himself on Hadi but yeah Hadi just disassociated and thought of him as one of the client from the brothel.

Later, he did give up everything and confessed to the crimes he committed under Bestia's command which restored Hadi's status and wealth. Normally, he would've been executed but they only revoked his citizenship and banished him because he did help a lot in taking down Bestia. He lived the rest of his life in a house outside Rome (the same house where he wanted to "start over" with Hadi) and spent the rest of his life waiting for Hadi if he ever changed his mind about Maximus. There was a side story that talked a bit more about his life afterwards so yeah he didn't pay in a way where he was tortured or killed but in that he lost Hadi forever.

I swear when we first saw that thing it wasn’t circumcised but then half way through the chapter it became circumcised. Then we inevitably got the sword stick for the last half so you can’t tell anymore.

No actually it was manhwa chapters not novel i actually checked at that time but it was asking to sign up hence I didn't do anything beyond that
