This is very of it's time - the art, the proportions, the characterisation of the women, the whole plot line...I do like the premise of a vampire changing into a hamster tho ~ that's so funny

I enjoyed this way more on the 2nd reread and can fully appreciate it now! The mc is way too tsundere and I wish the author could have toned it down a bit more than they did at the end.
Still this was very sweet and so fun, the dynamic is unmatched! I would have killed for some side stories especially with them maybe doing a double date with Hyejin and that fckboy friend or adopting a cat or more on their backstories or smut ofc

What do you mean the ending isn't real and it's just Lewellyn's dream...there's no way the blonde officer guy didn't die from that shot that Shavonne took, and it feels too clean that Shavonne was able to survive with those injuries, and for them to escape together like that. Lewellyn getting compensation from the government is the most unrealistic part...
Ultimately, because the author didn't SHOW us Lewellyn and Shavonne escaping and the jarring contrast between episode 89 and 90... yeah chp 90 has to be a mirage.
Also with the motif of the Steadfast Tin Soldier fairytale, which ends in the solider and the ballerina ultimately burning in the fire with each other with nothing left but their love...
I so so badly wish their dream was real...I desperately wish I could lie to myself.
Screw it I'm going to HYPNOTISE MYSELF to believe in their happy ending. THEY DESERVE LOVE SO I'LL BELIEVE IN THEIR DREAM.
edit: turns out I was way overanalysing things... they do get a happy ending! def recommend reading the novel ending/side story they are very satisfying and uncensored (⌒▽⌒)
Idk if it comforts you but in the novel they have side stories so they’re very much alive and getting better (aka happy)

The novel makes me feel much more reassuring than the manhwa and bridges that gap between them escaping and their happy ending. I think I was way overanalysing! Now I can go to sleep content (▰˘◡˘▰)

crying rn how can the intricacies of these character and the depth of their connection be so beautifully captured in only 18 chapters that most authors don't ever achieve in 200... I have the most profound respect for the creator
