Am i the only one who cries during some of the angsty chapters?? Or is it because i relate?? Or the way the author writes it?? Lol I'm rereading and I'm sobbing again ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

If you want to read this, PLEASE DOOO!!!!! Its an underrated gem, i swear to god. You will absolutely fall in love with each and every character! I don't really enjoy Guideverse that much, usually because of the common overtly possessiveness, Guides who 'own' the esper—or vise versa— and the usual lack of empathy but this was a completely GAME CHANGER!! The characters have their bad past and their flaws but that just makes them so human.

I absolutely love this and i definetky will recommend this. You'll feel happy, distressed, angry, sad, happy all at once. Its a great store and the art is so visually stunning!


• Plot: 7/10
A pretty common plot in guideverse, Esper gets forced into a guide blah fucking blah. But they really executed this well!! I feel like i was emmeresed (is that the spelling? I dunno, English aint my first language) and its sooo funny!! only 7 because i've seen this plot so many times.

• Characters: 9/0
I love the characters, they've been made sooo well. They have their pros and their cons and a dark past, but it just shows proof that good things will alwys come, even if its just a fleeting moment.

• Communication: 7/10
Sure they communicate, but its not like they sit down and have a full conversation about their struggles and problems. They slowly uncover their struggle and since SE (Seo Eunsong) doesn't want LTJ (Lee TaeJun) to distance himself from him because he wants to help him. So it could be better. But still, already there aren't much miscommunication—that's a win in my book :)

• Art: 8/10
Beautiful, visually this is absouletly the most beautiful thing I've ever read!! (Im exaggerating) I would say its on par with my favorite arts of am time, like ghosts nocturne, Blossoms of the white night, Define the relationship and Eighteens bed. But its only in my top 10 not my precious top 3.

• Smut: 10/10
Three words, Absolutely fucking hot!!! They are so sexually compatiable and if you like hot, steamy smut then you'll def love this. AND THERE IS CONSENT LETS FCKIN GOOO.

• Future as a couple: 9/10
I can see them together in the future but obviously with small fights here and there, that's why i gave it only 9. But we can all agree they will still the red she they see ecahother even 20 years from now!

My total rating: 50/60!!! Totally read it!! i reccomend

I absolutely love how they help each other, be vulnerable. I don't know if I'm speaking from rose-tinted glasses because I relate to Seo Euonsung (i think thats how its spelled, lets just call him SE) A lot!! i used to be so suicidal, my escape for everything was just 'I'm just gonna kill myself anyways so..' But he changed, he started loving life—much like i did. So i love that representation

If you're planning to read this, PLEASE DO!!!! Its a great story, short, a bit rushed but not noticeably but undeniably incredible!!!! The characters have good characteristics and flaws as well. They communicate well and their issues are addressed!! The art is beautiful and the story line is interesting and you end up falling in love with the characters.

Since 'Cherry Blossoms after Winter' got tainted by a new season, this is my new comfort read lol
So if you're planning to read it, go ahead. Its heartwarming and so cute, you'll sympathetic for the characters. SO GO FOR IT (nakamura-kun (ifykyk))

stunningingly made!! But I suppose the communication initiated by only one of them... So it could be better. 6/10

beautiful!! I'll be honest, its not ethereal like 'heavens official blessing' or 'ghosts nocturne'. But its beautiful in a basic way. Like a banana bread; its basic but delicious. 6/10

• Smut:
Very Hot, they're very compatible sex-wise. 9/10

• Future as a couple:
Yes!! I can definitely see them in the future together!! 9.5/10

AFTER THIS POINT, THERE IS SPOILERS!!!!


This story is really well written, like off the bat it would seem like any other really misunderstood-love-triangle nonsense but I swear the author really demonstrated the story clearly. HyeongJun (I'll be calling him HJ) Is such a good representative for good communication. And I feel Chanyeong (Ill be calling him CY) is kinda, 'bottle up my feelings and never talk about them ever again'. But I'm glad we got to know it, and even gladder that both sides had their own rights and wrongs—

—We know that RedHead (Juwon, i think his name is) told his crush about CY family situation, which we can guess by context clues, and that is messed up. CY got mad (like any other emotional human being) and fought up, leading upto RedHead getting a serious leg injury that stopped his from pursuing his original career.

I love that for some reason, it sounds strange (I Know) But thats how most middle/high school conflicts start.
A little information spills out→starts an argument→Something bad happens.

I think i love it even more cause its relatable to me, All my childhood conflicts started the same, where we all got severely injured. Now i feel like I am more lowkey, similar to HJ.

Another thing that I absolutely love about this story. These two help each other, god, I love that soso frkin much broski. CY helps him confess, and just supports him, even when he liked him he didn't necessarily stop him from confessing his feelings—bless him istg, he's so sweet. And he's so misunderstood, so obviously we feel more sympathy for him.

And abt HJ, he seems like some regular joe, but hes the kind of 2nd ML's that you end up falling in love with and rooting for. He sooo communicable, and he also helps. He helped CY get back on his feet after his depressive state and helped him convey his emotions when they talked with Redhead (Juwon). And he understood him, he didn't believe the rumors, he believed that CY was a genuinely good person—and what more do you need than a supportive and good-hearted partner?


Some con's about the story:

I absolutely love this story, no doubt of it. But I feel like it couldve been more, Same plotline, same characters, nothing new. Just extended. Like we could've empthatised rather than sympathized. I feel like it would do the story better if HJ's depressive scenes were more understandable, and we can get an underlying conversation about his abandonment issues—which i feel like he does indeed have.

We could've gotten a sit down conversation about their expierences, a few laughs, maybe a sweet moment and I feel like I could be happy with that. It just felt like the story was missing something.
