I don't know what is it with these writers and why its such a common thing to use tropes like emasculated men. I thought yaoi was made for women by women. So why is it that emasculating men is such a common theme in omegaverses? This trope becomes especially dangerous when you pair it with skewed power dynamics. The ML who's clearly older, richer, more privileged, and has more access versus the MC who doesn't have any of this. I've read up to chapter 8 with great difficulty. I don't mean to discourage anyone who likes this. I just personally find this story to be a heap of drivel. I also think it's very important to point out the damage these tropes can do to readers subconsciously. Although I understand the trope of emasculated men might be fulfilling to many women in a vengeful sense given the toll of centuries worth of patriarchy on so many women. It might be satisfying to many to watch men suffer through this horrible system women do. But I still think the theme of picking on emasculated men in stories like this one has a pretty pernicious implication that femininity equals weakness. This is SO NOT TRUE obv. And I understand that emasculated men is a pretty vague term. I also understand that there are men who are naturally more feminine in stature or are drawn to activities like cross-dressing in many beloved stories on this platform. I don't mean these lovely men. What separates this genre of emasculated men (as seen in the MC here) from the men who are naturally more feminine or drawn to femininity? I think the answer is presentation. This story is about an MC who has barely any personality beyond his feminine looks, traits, and innocence. It's a story about him being taken advantage of people and systems who exploit these traits. The stories about the men who are naturally more feminine or drawn to femininity instead imbue a lot of personality into these men. Some are innocent, some are naive, and some are rambunctious and witty. Either way, they are not some blank pretty face and generally the stories have more nuance in how they represent their struggles and lives. Sorry about this one guys, I know it was damn long. I don't mean to police your thoughts. I thought I should share this so that the people who find this kind of story off-putting and can't put their finger on why would may be able to perhaps understand why a bit more. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Look ik he's an evil tyrant king. But why he kinda... Anyways, bless the artist's talented hand when drawing Eros. He is the most deliciously drawn ML I've seen in a while. His musculature is ლ(´ڡ`ლ). I also kinda like that the evil tyrant king is conventionally hot. In so many manga, all the evil guys look ugly af. That's not always true. A lot of evil people can be ridiculously hot and a lot of good people like MCs/MLs can also not align with conventional beauty standards.
As we all are having heated debates like omega rights are a real thing, I thought I'd add my thoughts as well. ML's actions are ofc unjustified, but I do see where he's coming from. Imagine the crippling fear and regret ML would feel if another alpha were to mark the MC as he works his job sincerely. That's an irreversible event and it's natural that if the ML knows this risk, he'd be willing to act despite the MCs stubbornness. I'm not trying to justify in any way that ML's actions are right, but just need to acknowledge that MC is being very dangerously stubborn. I think they should talk this out. Some people have mentioned divorce in the comments. This is a manga guys, so divorce is almost always out of the question. But I do think MC and ML should talk things out and that ML should attempt to strongly persuade MC.

We can't just toss 2nd ML aside. If nobody's gonna take him, I volunteer as tribute!!! I shall sacrifice myself to be his lover (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
