Probably very complicated situation. For one to share one body, as they can't truly be separated. Feeling what the other part is feeling, is like a false sense of self. So, it pretty much one sided.

Happy ending, they both end up together and in a slice of life way. Their ending feels like the glimpse you were getting in their life story and now the curtains have closed while you know they will be alright as more story for them is there. Just we as readers won't be getting to see it anymore. That kinda way dk if it makes sense
