he doesnt 'talk it out' with yeesung at all, and whenever he sees yeesung he only sees him as someone he wants to have sex with. he overlooks yeesung's distraught, and he KNOWS something is wrong with yeesung. he knows the nature of yeesungs fucked up relationship with his boss. he knows yeesung is often sexually assaulted by others too, hes AWARE of all this. but instead of trying to understand yeesung, to put away his own feelings and emotions and comfort to yeesung, he chose to be violent and degrading towards yeesung. gyeol is no different from how the boss treats him. he views yeesung as an object. the boss views yeesung as an object for his twisted art, and gyeol views yeesung as the object of his twisted desires and lust. he gets aroused at the sight of yeesung trembling in fear.
i understand we all love 'toxic yaoi' and everything but the nature of this relationship is so abusive. there is such a distinct power imbalance thats so prominent in these recent chapters. a similar power imbalance that exist between yeesung and his boss. gyeol is no better than the boss you all hate, yet i see people saying how hot this whole scene is?

guys i reallyyyyyy wanna get into reading this but im also really scared im gonna get super emotional bcs im bound to feel bad/sad for Jo. I started this manhwa years ago and dropped it to marinate but always saw spoilers and tbh i didnt mind, i remember feeling super sad for TJ because of how everyone was convinced he wasnt the endgame, because i knew he and Ian had shared so much history together and in the spoilers i've seen it was obvious how deep they're both interwined with eachother (literally and emotionally speaking), so i was super sad for him. but even after i found out about the ending with TJ is also felt sad towards Jo? just the thought that after all that he was left behind kinda made my heart ache. But i really wanna get into this manhwa because the plot sounds promising and ticks all my boxes, plus i love noir, gangster vibe BL stories. the art is also insanely good, not to mention the intimate scenes are drawn so well. however im genuinely worried im gonna get super down in the dumps after reading this??? just binged this all the way up to chapter 77 wow. you guys werent joking this was so well written and beautiful i especially love mokhwa's relationship with the ocean and by extension his longing for his mother. the hotel pool scene and his monologue really moved me idk i love mokhwa so much.... nakwon is also very well written, the art is beautiful and overall im enjoying it so far. gonna continue reading since im almost done with season 3 and im heading towards season 4
