My ideal type is someone who loves cats. Not dogs—cats. The reason I make that distinction is because when people are asked whether they prefer cats or dogs, many choose dogs because dogs are affectionate and openly return their love. They often say they don't like cats because cats are aloof, independent, or don't always show affection.
That has always made me think. We're taught to be kind to others including animals. So when someone dislikes cats because they don't give affection in the way dogs do, I can't help but wonder: are they being kind only when they receive kindness and love in return?
What I genuinely admire people who love cats is that they choose to care for an animal that may not constantly seek their attention or shower them with affection. To me, that kind of love feels less transactional. It feels like caring for another living being simply because you value them, not because of what they can give you back.
Also where i am from we got many stray dogs and cats, the people who 'loves' dogs buys a dog from a shelter and raise them but the people who own cats, they didn't choose to adopt them but choose to raise them when they found them in vulnerable conditions. I find such people charming and lovely
Am I the only one who hates it when the male and female leads bind their souls together so they can die at the same time? It is considered a common trope in manhwas, however, I find that idea reckless and irresponsible. What about the people they leave behind? What about Lian? And what if they have children of their own? If one of them becomes terminally ill, the other would die as well, leaving their loved ones to suffer an even greater loss. It may be portrayed as romantic, but it ignores the responsibilities they have toward the people who depend on them.
They axed the manhwa, the novel was better but i still enjoyed it regardless. This manhwa had a promo that I read and I was eagerly anticipating for the scene where the ML hugs the FL and pleads her not to die but there was no such scene in the manhwa i was extremely disappointed. They also changed many plots.
Like in the novel, the FL’s sister survives, although her brothers still perish. The sister is saved at the brink of death by a member of the Moon Clan who liked for her. He transfers her soul into another body using his life force, though it is unclear whether he survives this act. Later, upon learning that the FL is dying, the sister goes to inform her about the Moon Clan.
This leads the FL and others to seek out the Moon Clan, where a ritual is performed to transfer the FL’s soul into a new body. The ritual succeeds, but the FL chooses to pretend she has amnesia so that she and the ML can begin anew. However, the ML still rejects this attempt at a fresh start.
The rest of the story largely follows the original trajectory. The public believes the ML has moved on to a new woman after the FL’s death, unaware that the woman is actually the FL in a different body. Meanwhile, a pink-haired noblewoman, Olivia attempts to seduce the ML, only to be rejected and eventually ends up with Taylor. The FL later uses this situation to reveal that the former duchess is still alive.
Although I wasn’t fond of the FL’s changed appearance, it does align with the ML’s earlier condition—that he would only allow her to live if she could rid herself of Hildegard’s blood.
The amount of times I hesitated to read this manhwa is insane!! I didn't want the FL to end up with her student so I always dropped it in the first few chapters but I am glad I picked it back up. This was so cute!! And I love the way Si-U looks at the FL so affectionately especially during his confession
I hate manhwas that start with the ML having an affair with someone else in the first timeline ( sometimes it is a misunderstanding or it is an act plotted by the ML). In this manhwa I was not very interestied because of the miscommunication, but then after reading a few chapters i couldn't stop reading it. Loved the character development of the brother.

In the novel, they slept with each other
Wait, I didn't know this was a novel!! What is it call? Where can I find it? Please!
I think you can find it under the same name or try parenting first, love later. I believe on nyx scans you can read 45+ chapters for free
Wait, it happened in this point in the story ??? Could u elaborate on how it went in the novel?
Well, yes they did it at this point of the story. They were both attracted to each other so just like in the manhwa, FL waited for the ML to have tea. Then, they started kissing and they went to ML'S room. The FL said she didn't have much experience in this sort of thing (she didn't want to admit it was her first) and the ML said don't worry I'll do it well. The FL asked if he is not saying it because he has a lot of experience and the ML said it was a rude thing to ask and what matters is that its their first time together. While doing it, he saw blood stains and found out it was her first time and that Jiho was not her child.
He is so sweet (ノ≧∇≦)ノ
