First, you should try selecting stories based on what you know you like, so that you are exited to read what comes next. Remember rating can tell you if the stories are of high quality but that is not enough, something good can still not be your cup of tea.

Most of the time it's 0/1, I'm pretty lucky... sometime a brief 4 spiking to 5, but once or twice a year it HURTS. Once it hurt so bad I started crying and had to lay on the couch, waiting for the pain to pass by before going to heat something up to feel better. That was a 8.
