can we stop with the what if’s please… “oh what if there were two adults that were siblings that didn’t have any power imbalances, didn’t have any childhood trauma, weren’t pressured into anything, were fully consenting…” like we sound ridiculous   reply

There's always a huge power imbalance in these types of situations, even if the siblings aren't related. For example, if you grow up with someone, they're almost always going to be someone older and someone younger. The younger sibling will always unconsciously (or consciously) look up to the older sibling which is what causes the power imbalance. ......   1 reply
